It's been a few months now since we decided to take mom off active care and settle her in hospice for her last couple weeks. I feel your pain, as much as any other person can (which is not enough).

For us, the hardest part was getting through the fantasy that "Mom's gonna come home and it'll be just like before" ... once we got there, it was much easier to put Mom front and center in the discussions.

We aren't prepared for things like this.

Yes. We were in a great forum working on Obama's elections. Some of us went to the 1st inauguration. The forum fell apart when it was Clinton vs Sanders. Just plain ugly. I was so happy to find Fogbow and told her about it.

She and Howard were so kind to when my son came to Pittsburgh for training. From there he was hired to knock on doors, phone calls, and meetings. He's hired every election year. Thanks to both of them.
