There are a bunch of pneumonia strains, kinda like the flu. You just have to hope you are inoculated against the strain du jour.

I am still improving a week after release. Oxygen running around 95%. I saw my primary care guy Tuesday and he said my lungs sound clear. I have a follow up x-ray and pulmonologist visit in a couple of weeks.
I did some research and pneumonia vaccines are only 60%-70% effective. I did not know that before this. I do now.

Well that's good news, except for the efficacy of the pneumonia vaccines. But I suppose 60%-70% is far better than nothing.
