Well then.
NEW YORK – Rep. George Santos was charged with theft in Pennsylvania’s Amish Country in 2017 after a series of bad checks were written in his name to dog breeders, according to the court and a lawyer friend who helped him address the charge.

Just days after $15,125 in checks were made out for “puppies,” according to the memo lines, Santos held an adoption event at a Staten Island pet store with his animal rescue charity Friends of Pets United, according to the store’s Instagram account and a person who attended the event.

The charge was dismissed and his record expunged after Santos claimed someone had stolen his checkbook, according to the court and the lawyer.

The Pennsylvania theft charge, which has not previously been reported, is the latest revelation in a dizzying array of scandals for the beleaguered New York congressman, who fabricated much of his campaign biography. Santos is facing at least five law enforcement probes including an FBI investigation into his role in a service dog charity scheme tied to Friends of Pets United and a Brazilian fraud case.

Has anyone found ANYTHING on ANY subject, said by Mr. Santos, that turned out to be TRUE?

I think that list will be much shorter than the list of lies he has told.

Greg "Ted Baxter but not funny" Kelly had Kitara on his Newsmax show... 18 painful minutes. Even Kelly wasn't buying. And, oh yeah -- Kitara said she had an "acute brain tumor".

'Dumbfounded' George Santos relative shocked to learn they donated $5,800 to his campaign

Brad Reed
February 01, 2023

A relative of scandal-plagued Rep. George Santos (R-NY) says they never made a $5,800 donation to his congressional campaign despite the fact that they were listed in official documents as having done so.

Mother Jones reports that the relative, who asked not to be identified, says they are "dumbfounded" by campaign finance reports showing that they gave Santos two separate donations that just happened to total the legal maximum for individual campaign contributions.

“It’s all news to me," the Santos relative told Mother Jones. “I don’t have that money to throw around!”

Saurav Ghosh, the director for federal campaign finance reform at the Campaign Legal Center, tells Mother Jones that anyone funneling money to Santos' campaign under other people's names would be flat-out breaking the law.

Republicans should/will let him hang in there until 2024. The campaign ads are already being planned to have Santos as the face of the MAGA GOP. He has no power anyway, he's not going to have legislation passed or do anything meaningful except embarrass Republicans and sell popcorn. Idiots like Kurt Schlichter are already calling for Santos 2024.

Sold them at a charity auction for "rescued dogs" - leaving actual rescued dogs abandoned in shelters.

He hasn't risen to the level of bimbo yet.

He's trying hard to play it cool.

But the campaign reports and the money stuff is deadly for him.

WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF THE $700,000 HE GAVE HIS CAMPAIGN?

When that gets answered, I suspect he's going to prison.

And my staff informs me that it's no fun to be a bimbo in prison. :blackeye:

He claimed in the Newsmax lengthy-tedious interview upthread that the money came from a "legal consulting" firm he started in 2003 and he drew funds (his equity) from that.

But of course, it's Kitara talking so all BS.

If you capitalize it, Bimbo becomes a proper name. Portland has a large commercial bakery called Bimbo Bakeries. Perhaps Santos founded the company. Certainly he at least had a wildly successful little patisserie tucked away in his resume someplace. World Renowned, and several Michelin stars I'm sure.

Hay, he wasn't going to the school he said he was when he was 15. He probably had a lot of time on his hands for, y'know, founding legal consulting firms and stuff, when he was 15. I know that's pretty much what I did when I was 15.

I may be wrong, but thought he said 2003. Regardless, whatever it was doesn't matter. I am not going to re-watch that Newsmax segment.

Bimbo is a multi-national company ... now ... but back when George ran it, it was just in Brooklyn. And Portland.
