I suspect Kitara will have his imitators trying to bust into Congress by scamming everyone in their districts. It would be nice if we could catch them BEFORE they get elected to Congress, this time around. Remember, this happened in oh-so-sophisticated New York, where it would be unpossible to fool people like he did.
Agree. They need to do better Op-research. This travesty should never have happened. And the details were so easy to find. No excuse. Not just the Dem party but media failed as well. Everyone asleep at the wheel.

I’d love to see a tongue-in-cheek biopic in the same vein as HBO’s treatment of the Watergate plumbers.

Holy shit! $170k?! He started at $75 a pop and sold out, so now he's upped it to $400 for a 1-minute video and is raking in money hand over fist!
CBS News @CBSNews wrote: Former Republican lawmaker George Santos has quickly found a way to make more money than he earned as a politician.

He's joined Cameo, where he has already booked more than $170,000 worth of video work on the platform.

Stuff on tv and movies require some minor touch of plausibility. If somebody would have pitched a Santos video before Santos, it would have been round files due to lack of plausibility.

They need to be be more believable like stories with lightsabers, polyjuice potions, and some dude who rules all because of a piece of jewelry.

A few have come out of sketch comedy and done well. Eddie Murphy, for example.

Yeahbt, Murphy has not played Gumby in a movie, nor has Chevy Chase played Ford in a movie.

Yeabut, Murphy has also not played Mr. Robinson in a movie.
And Chevy Chase is fairly useless as an actor since only has 1st gear/one trick pony (and he is apparently an a**s to his co workers).

I look forward to a time when someone mentions "George Santos", and I have to struggle to remember who he was.

It cannot happen soon enough.

Sure, I mean, that'll happen, and then he'll make a second stab at Dancing with the Stars or some British equivalent show for former celebs. AND THE CYCLE WILL RENEW.

And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

Santos Appears In Court, As Plea Talks Continue With Prosecutors

https://patch.com/new-york/northfork/s/ ... 27b23925a1
Prosecutors told the judge that they "expect plea negotiations to continue," a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District, said.

The next court appearance in Central Islip is scheduled for January 23 at 10:30 a.m., prosecutors announced.

Also at Tuesday's status conference, the judge said she was inclined to keep the date for the trial to start in September, but if her trial schedule changes they can revisit that discussion, she said.

Santos told CBS2 on Sunday, "A plea is not off the table, obviously, at this point. I’m gonna negotiate the best I can."

Santos has message for ex-colleagues: ‘I’ll outlive them’

https://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/4 ... live-them/
“I’ll be back,” the New York Republican said in an interview with comedian Ziwe, released Monday on YouTube.

“I’m 35. They’re all in their 50s. I’ll outlive them,” Santos told the political satirist, whose full name is Ziwe Fumudoh.

“Each and last one of them,” Santos added.

“That is so menacing,” Ziwe replied to a laugh from Santos. “I feel threatened and I’m not even in the House of [Representatives,]” she said.

Santos’s remarks come after the House voted earlier this month to expel the scandal-plagued lawmaker from Congress. Santos faces federal indictment on 23 counts of wire fraud, identity theft and other campaign finance charges.

In his interview with Ziwe, Santos slammed his former peers, calling them “hacks.”

“They’re not doing anything other than lying to you. If a politician’s mouth is moving on Capitol Hill, they’re lying to you,” he said.

“But I’m looking at a politician, and your mouth is moving and I feel like you’re lying to me,” Ziwe said.

“I’m not a politician — never was, never will be,” Santos insisted.

RDA, thanks for posting that Kitara hit! Kitara doesn't know who HARVEY MILK is? I'm going to need to see proof that the boy is even gay.

Had to give him a link to the movie EXECUTION OF JUSTICE by Emily Mann. (The Broadway production was my first Broadway producer credit.)

George, you don't know who Harvey Milk is? Here's a link to the movie EXECUTION OF JUSTICE. The guy responsible for Harvey Milk’s death was acquitted of murder due to the “Twinkie Defense”. It's "diminished capacity", but junk food was used as an excuse.
