Andy, I can see why you had such a hard time choosing. They’re magnificent!!

If you're a deermobile and you'd like to cross the mighty Neuse River, it's better to use the railroad bridge instead of swimming in the swift-moving and very chilly river.

Smart deer!
There are a number of places in Canada, maybe here, too, where they actually build bridges over the roads to help bears, moose, etc., get over roads rather than venturing out into traffic on highways. The animals learn to use them quite quickly, as I understand.

Just a silly scene from the city I took today.
Usually it's a matched set of shoes. Not a boot and a sneaker.

Whoa, look at the door in Chilidog's photo! Those folks took the pandemic lockdown to a whole new level!

Thanks! Lots of cool photos there.
The one of the great horned owl interested me. One of the Pittsburgh eagles' nests is about ten miles from me. They are incubating three eggs right now, and have been getting attacked by a great horned owl. It knocked the male out of the nest a few nights ago, and has come back since.

I bought a camera backpack. We're traveling to Seattle in August, anyway that's the plan.
So I know the photo is baby blue interior, but it said the color was green, and I had $25 in Amazon points, so send me one.
See how it says "Color = Green"?
So they sent me the baby blue one in the photo. I can't stand baby blue. What do they think I am, a UCLA Bruin?
Ol' Wifehorn is a UCLA Bruin.

Look on the bright side you can gift it to her and she will tote your gear. It's win sorta win!

Nope, returning it. My new backpack - which will be
GREEN inside - is coming tomorrow.
One thing about Amazon, returning stuff is easy and they do deliver quickly. I just wonder why that "Color: Green" was part of the listing.
Weird.

Apparently, a male model didn't show up for a wedding company photoshoot, so someone called my son to see he could get to the location pronto. (He is not a model. Basically, he lobbies for healthcare matters, currently working on a bill to require police to be trained in deescalating encounters with people with Alzheimer's and other disorders. He does get calls like this occasionally. Apparently, he was murdered in one of the last episodes of Hawaii 5-0.
) He surprised me with this snapshot of today's work.

Handsome fella.
It looks like the sleeve on that suit jacket was a bit too short.

LOL, the company had to use any guy who showed up or cancel the shoot. That's just one shot anyway that someone sent to him after he left the site. He did enjoy the tourists congratulating him and "his bride" when they reached the parking lot. Then they got in different cars and drove away....

Aah, a truncated honeymoon. So romantic!
My mom pretty much ruined her honeymoon by beating my dad at tennis repeatedly.
But, umm ... yeah. Sleeve is too short on that fine-looking young man.

Yup. I can certainly see why he gets those occasional calls.
