Oh man, JT8 is not a Democrat! He's a small ell libertarian, with enormous disdain for both of the established gigantic evil political parties in this great land of ours. Also, he commanded a tank during the first Desert Storm, and his son was wounded like six separate times in Iraq, and he looks like the lost member of ZZTop and he's into miniature wargaming, which is about the most multi-disciplinary hobby you can find, and ... and anyway, he is definitely not a Democrat, and more power to him and his elk.

Oh yeah ... and this is going WAY BACK to before Politijab was an idea. We're talking about 2005 or 2006, and here's what happened on a completely different forum than the one we have today.

Somebody on this other forum found an online quiz that was supposed to tell you which church would be most appropriate for you, based on your beliefs about life, the Universe, little stuff like that. So you answered a bunch of questions about your beliefs, and it gave you a numerical score as to which churches you agreed with and which churches you didn't.

And John Thomas8, I swear to god I am not making this up, he fucking scored ZERO on six different major religions. And meanwhile it was telling me to join the Universal Unification or something (and George W. Bush was president, and the initials of the church are "Double U" ).

If I live to be 400 years old, I will never forget how totally jealous I was and still am. I thought I was an agnostic. Momma said there'd be days like this.

But happy birthday anyway.

Probably the Unitarian Universalist Church. As a card carrying atheist I find them highly tolerable and tolerant. They seem to be okay with everyone atheists, humanists, followers of the FSM, you name it. They have a group page on FaceBook which is usually very funny: Unitarian Universalist Hysterical Society.
