I just have been wondering about the clueless part, is this the first time something went to the appeal court in her short 18 months career as judge? Is she ignorant that it does not work like as with a teacher at school where you replace the bad part to get good notes? Eg that she doesn't recollect that the appeal court ruling just invalidates the paragraphs and she doesn't have to to anything further but mentally incorporate the ruling in the future of this proceedings?

Trump told Hannity that he could declassify documents "just by saying it's declassified, even by thinking about it," last night. Hannity failed to ask:

"Well it's been reported that one of the documents contained nuclear secrets of one of America's allies. What ally was that, and what can you tell us about their nuclear secrets now that you declassified all that stuff? That's not secret any more, it's declassified, amirite? Was it Israel? Did you consult with anybody in Israel before you declassified all their nuclear secrets? Anything you declassified can be published in the failing NY Times now, amirite?"

Boy, Hannity missed an opportunity there.

But now, sadly, Judge Dearie is not really going to order the United States of America to return everything they RANSACKED from Trump's home during the BREAK-IN at Mierda Lardo, and he's not going to tell the FBI that they are really mean people who are just no damn good. He's not going to take off his shoes when he reads the stuff the FBI found in Trump’s bedroom! He's probably not going to return anything at all, and he's not going to prevent Trump or anybody else from being indicted on criminal charges, and he just wants to look through all Donald's stuff without giving it back, so what good is he now?

Holy smackdown Batman!

The way I read the events of the past couple of days, culminating in this latest missive from the special master is that this ploy has backfired in pretty much the most spectacular way possible. Rather than the delaying tactic that Trump sought, the classified documents are now being freely used by the DoJ and Trump has to justify EVERYTHING he wants to claim regarding the rest of the docs. Too. also, he has to pay for all of this mishegoss in a timely fashion, or else.

The record being created is both stunning and unprecedented with the wide array of unethical and criminal behavior that is being documented. One starts to feel like Trump’s last line of defense (which will be tested) is the belief that, even in DC, a jury cannot be empaneled in a criminal trial that doesn’t include at least one member that will refuse to convict Trump no matter what. If that turns out to be the case, and Trump is able to rally his base and win the 2024 election as a result, then, in my opinion, the rule of law will have well and truly been broken down and the Republic will have been lost. The Trumpist party will take control of the government and use its power to silence dissent and persecute its enemies and there will be no institution capable of resisting it.

We’re all playing for the highest stakes imaginable and Trump has gone all in. It’s time for everyone to decide what principles or interests they are willing to risk losing everything to defend or fold. Personally, I say given me accountability or give me death. It’s time to call the authoritarian bluff.
