Sometimes it is the happy ending that remains with us.

While I'm sorry for your loss, I am delighted that things turned out well in the end.

Thanks to everyone! :grouphug:

While I miss Dad, my biggest takeaway from this is how it made people come together which makes me realize that the best way that I can honor him is to help build bridges for people to connect. I've been mostly staying inside my own bubble for the last three years and this has been a sign that it's time to come out. Like Dad, I believe that everything happens for a reason. To me, there is no better way to polish the memory of those we have lost than to use it as motivation for making a difference in the lives of others and doing good in the world. I want to make my recollection of Don Angell shine.

I have ALWAYS loved his music, but when Crosby got his liver transplant I was in the camp that thought he didnt deserve it, wouldnt live 3 years, and somebody more worthy could have used that liver.

He proved me wrong in so many ways its silly.

I grew to not only love his music, but to admire the man.

Go in peace.

And I'd just like to add that 3 years ago, even though it was an agonizing decision, I finally DID cut my hair in order to give my dermatologist a better view of the problem areas he had to cut off my scalp.

Of course, like Crosby, this only affected the sides and the back, but I no longer have my freak flag.

Sorry, Dave.

Slarti, I'm so sorry for your loss. As humblescribe said, it's a blessing you were able to reconnect over the past five years.

My Daddy passed away on Thanksgiving Day, and now my Mommy passed away last night. I posted it about it in the Orlylicious topic. Mom was in Cali and Dad was in CT, they'd been divorced 40 years but still friendly. I'm grateful I had so many years with my best friends but I'm still in shock that it happened in less than two months. I haven't begun to adjust to what's happened, I'm an only child and my team is gone. :(

Here's the Diamond memorial. DL2XIT is at about 3:30:00. Didn't watch him. Silk introduces him with a vile, nasty eulogy that includes "things Diamond told her to say" like the poison vax and on and on with stupidity. She's going to restart her show on FrankSpeech in February. Mike Lindell spoke as well. Even at her memorial, they couldn't stop being be dead-end MAGAts full of hate and lies.

The absolutely polar opposite of my Mommy and Daddy. I had told Daddy about Fogbow, he read some of the topics back in the birther days, he was happy I had friends here to talk with and found the antics of Orly & Co outrageous and ridiculous. He caught on right away that it was 99% grifting. Smart guy.

Orlylicious,

Sorry to hear about your parents as well. It must be especially hard as an only child, but remember you do have a Fogbow fambly that loves you too. also.

‘Diamond’ of pro-Trump commentary duo dies of heart disease

https://apnews.com/article/health-donal ... 789ea1aa2e
Lynette Hardaway, a zealous supporter of former President Donald Trump whose death had prompted widespread speculation over its cause, died earlier this month of a heart condition, according to a death certificate obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

Known by the moniker “Diamond” of the conservative political commentary duo Diamond and Silk, Hardaway, 51, died Jan. 8 of heart disease due to chronic high blood pressure.

Hardaway and her sister, Rochelle “Silk” Richardson, found internet stardom as Black women who ardently backed Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. After making several campaign appearances with the former president, the two leveraged their notoriety to land regular commentator roles at Fox News. Their promotion of coronavirus falsities eventually got them dropped, but they landed at the far-right cable and digital media platform Newsmax.
