I kind of want "Suing for Treason" to be the name of Orly's biography, tho.

Is that wrong? Because if that's being wrong, I don't want to be right.

Orly,

Repeat after me: Attorneys General. Attorneys General.
This is a good example of the postpositive. While rare in English, it does occur. Other examples include:

Battle royal (plural battles royal.)
Solicitor general

That brilliant tweet of Lena's came up as:
3:54 AM · Sep 23, 2022
Perfect time for Deep Thoughts.

With all this new action, are we witnessing the birth of a Taitz Renaissance?

Over these past few years, how far Orly has fallen. :( Hardly any posts about her. She, Orly Taitz, the Queen of the Birthers, America's Sweetheart, the Joan of Arc of Eligibility. Foggy used to make a fortune on all the ads and sponsorships placed around Orly's name. :P Now she's reduced to state-paid dental work and cleanings for migrants who may not even understand the long, long stories she tells them about Obama and Bournel while they're in the dental chair.

Orly must be green with envy at lawyers like Christina Bobb and Jenna Ellis who raked in sweet, sweet attention and some cash from the dotard and various PACS. Not our fault at Fogbow: We tried to help Taitz, to get her to FOCUS on getting Donald (and Stephen Miller) to notice her and bring her on board as Attorney General or some important AAG role. We suggested she run barefoot in the Capitol again, just wearing an "I (heart) Stephen Miller" tee shirt. How many times did we say "BRING BACK TAITZ REPORT"??

All our sincere efforts to Make Orly Great Again fell flat because Taitz wouldn't focus on her self MOGA. Heck, she didn't even get excited about Kamala Harris -- she didn't lift a finger to help Rev Dr Laity Esq.

But with these new tweets, genuflecting to the dotard to the point of her just coming out and saying, "Go ahead, Mr. President, grab me by the p****", she is cunningly moving her chess piece to be in position for a major, major role in a new dotard administration.

To really appeal to the dotard, she should really host another Birther Summit, bring everybody together, bury the hatchet with Arpaio & Zullo, do another Columbia March and Trial with James Manning and have Mike Volin introduce a brand-new Sheriff's Kit (which we all know, not having enough was the root cause of the birther failure though Volin isn't taking the responsibility he should. This could help bring him back to the A Team).

An unrelenting new focus on the Eligibility Issue, even bringing back Pornstache and Corsi, would be fantastic for Orly, birthers, and the MAGA GOP. Heck, it's only been 15-16 years -- in fact, there's a whole new generation that might not even know about the "Trial of the Century" and the litigation that was so close it was Any Day Now.

Ball is in your court, Orly Taitz -- Go For The Gold!!

That all makes sense, now. I admit I never really noticed before, but was reading through news this morning and noticed in the lede to the article talking about the
“… New York Attorney General's massive lawsuit against the former president. “

The postpositive applies to possessive as well as plural, correct?

Don't know truthfully. Common sense would say no, however, particularly with speech. It would be ambiguous to say attorney's [attorneys] general massive lawsuit against the former president and not know if it is the possessive or plural postpositive. So, the adjective gets the inflectional morpheme by default.

Like most usage and construction, just recast the sentence. The massive lawsuit against the former president filed by the Attorney General. But ledes have their own problems given space restrictions.

Edited to inquire of Maybenaut how she handles a court-martial possessive in her legal filings. (Or if she cannily avoids it!)

The AusEng, CanEng and BrEng (almost certainly IrEng and NZEng too) spellings of court(s) martial do not insert the inappropriate hyphen. AmEng (actually USAEng) is in error on this (sez he, ducking behind a pile of leather-bound dictionaries).

I clicked so you don't have to:
Notice to McConnell of a possible legal action for fraud due to diversion of funds from GOP candidates battling Democrats in favor of Murkowski battling fellow Republican

Notice of a possible legal action for fraud and misrepresentation to be brought by the donors of the Republican Senate Leadership Fund whose donations were taken from Republican candidates Blake Masters in Arizona and Don Bolduc in New Hampshire who are challenging Democrats, and were wrongfully given to Lisa Murkowski running against a fellow Republican in Alaska

Recently, it was reported by Breitbart.com, New York Times as well as Sunday Futures with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News that you have withdrawn some $6 million in funds from Senate Leadership Fund, that were earmarked for advertising for Blake Masters in Arizona and some $4.5 million from Don Bolduc in New Hampshire and gave these funds to Lisa Murkowski, who is currently running against a fellow Republican in Alaska.

Please be advised, Republican donors have given donations to the Senate Leadership fund so that those funds will be used to fight Democrats, not fellow Republicans. The state of Alaska has a peculiar rule where the top two primary candidates regardless of party affiliation spare off in the general election. Lisa Murkowski is currently facing a fellow Republican, an amazing candidate, Kelly Tshibaka. Regardless of which one of them wins, GOP will have the Alaska senate seat. Ms. Tshibaka is a reliable Republican, seeking to improve the economy, secure the borders, fight crime, all of the goals and principles of the Republican party. Ms. Tshibaka is a brilliant Yale Law graduate, held high level positions in the Department of Justice and in the state of Alaska, she is married to a fellow Yale Law graduate, an accomplished African-American man and has five beautiful children. It is unconscionable, immoral and likely fraudulent, to take over 9 million dollars earmarked for other Republican candidates fighting Democrats in other states and give them to Murkowski to fight this amazing Republican candidate.

You might have had some justification in supporting some Republican candidates fighting fellow Republicans in the primaries, claiming that they might be stronger candidates in general election, however you have no justification in giving money to one Republican to fight another Republican in the general election. It appears , you are not following the will of the donors and are engaged in self dealing, seeking to support the candidates who support you personally as the Republican senate leader.

Mr. McConnell, the donors sought to benefit the Republican party, not you personally, further, at the age of 80, nearly 81, you might consider transferring your position of the senate Republican leader to a younger Republican senator, who is more in tune with the voters and donors. Regardless, you have a duty to follow the will of the donors, not to defraud them, not to engage in self dealing, not to support the candidates based on their allegiance to you personally, but based on their party affiliation, and in order to secure the Republican majority.

Both Blake Masters in Arizona and Brigadier General Don Bolduc in New Hampshire are amazing candidates with a real chance of becoming US senators. Masters is a strong Republican, Stanford educated attorney, successful High Tech executive, a husband and a father of three beautiful children. Recent polls show him tied or in a statistical tie with Mark Kelly in Arizona. Republican candidate for governor in Arizona is currently ahead and her lead will help Masters to secure the lead. Masters needs those funds in the last two and a half weeks of the election cycle to secure the victory.

General Bolduc is a strong Republican, he is a decorated US Army general and an amazing candidate. Recent Fabrizio poll show him only 2% behind in a poll with 4% margin of error, which means he is in a statistical tie. This is consistent with a prior Trafalgar poll showing him in a statistical tie. Republican governor of New Hampshire is leading, which will help him. Bolduc desperately needs those funds to win the election. Currently, according to the New York Times, Democrat Maggie Hassan started October with $4.8 million, while Bolduc has only $800,000. He is $4 million short to be to par with the Democrat in the advertising funding. The money that was originally ear marked and taken to benefit Murkowski, need to be returned to him.

Mr. McConnell, I strongly urge you to return to Bolduc and Masters the funds and avoid a potential legal action by the donors for fraud, misrepresentation and self dealing.

Further, I strongly urge to check whether there are shenanigans going on with WinRed.com, to see whether there is a sabotage in credit card acceptance platform, specifically in relation to donations to General Bolduc.

Due to the fact that you took the funds from Bolduc, I decided to give the maximum allowable donation to his campaign. Since I previously gave $100 and the maximum is $2,900, I decided to donate $2,800. I got a message that my card was declined, even though the card was not declined before, I checked it and the card was fine. I entered another card and got a message that the donation could not go through because the zip code was “insufficient”. I clearly know my zip code and it was correct and sufficient. So, in spite of that message, I clicked the button to donate and it went through. I am greatly concerned that there might be a sabotage of the credit card donations platform, to prevent General Bolduc from getting donations only because he does not support you personally to continue as the Republican senate leader.

I urge you to check the platform to make sure that this amazing Republican candidate is not sabotaged and his campaign is not starved by lack of donations.

In summary, it is your moral obligation and legal duty to comply with the will of the donors and not to defraud them and return the funds taken from Republican Candidates Bolduc in New Hampshire and Masters in Arizona and stop financing the attacks by Murkowski against the fellow Republican Kelly Tshibaka in Alaska.

Abortion rights stopped the red wave. It is imperative that GOP runs candidates that allow women to terminate pregnancies early on, in the first trimester or GOP will be crushed in the future elections, De Santis will not become the president in the future if he passes 6 weeks ban

This year was the best opportunity for the GOP to gain large number of seats in the House and the senate. The inflation is rampant, high crime, millions of illegals invaded the country, fentanyl deaths, yet GOP barely gained enough for the majority in the House and it is a big question mark whether it can take the senate. What happened? Reversal of Roe v Wade and the fight for Abortion rights. Most people in this country believe that women should have a right to terminate an unplanned pregnancy in the first trimester, or first 13 weeks or up to 15 weeks. 69% of unmarried women voted for the Democrats. 63% of young people, 18-30 years old voted for the Democrats. As time goes by, these young people will get older and would still support those abortion rights with some limitations, such as 13-15 weeks.

It is time for the GOP leadership to face this reality and support the candidates who support limited rights for abortion, up to 15 weeks.

If GOP continues running candidates who support complete bans on abortion or very harsh 6 weeks bans, these candidates would have a very hard time winning future races and particularly the most important race for presidency.

Ron De Santis is considered to be a rising star in the GOP. Currently, Florida has a reasonable limitation on abortion, 15 weeks and 6 days. However, De Santis is said to contemplate a 6 week ban on abortion in Florida. If he does that, he will have an extremely hard time getting elected the US president, probably will get defeated, as women consider this ban to be too harsh. If De Santis passes 6 weeks abortion ban in Florida and runs for president, he will have an extremely hard time winning swing states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan. It is time for the GOP to wake up and respond to the will of the voters on this issue. In the future economy might not be that bad, inflation will go down, it will be harder for the GOP to win, and if GOP does not run candidates who support some limited abortions, they will be crushed in future elections.
Edward wrote:So principles be damned and just change them to get elected?
Taitz wrote:people have different principles. Some have principles that in the first trimester the fetus is the size of a bean, not formed yet and a woman should have a right to terminate this pregnancy
 http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/abortion-ri ... -election/

Before you think Taitz is sounding sensible, compare:
Abortion rights stopped the red wave. It is imperative that GOP runs candidates that allow women to terminate pregnancies early on, in the first trimester or GOP will be crushed in the future elections, De Santis will not become the president in the future if he passes 6 weeks ban
with
Something is very wrong. There was a shift of 12 million votes from Dem winning margin in 2020 to GOP winning margin in 2022, yet GOP lost a senate seat and barely added 10 seats in the House. I hope every losing swing state candidate for senate and House files legal challenges and demands an audit of authenticity and chain of custody of ballots. We don’t know from where many of the ballots came from

You sure that was her? I didn't see the eyelashes.

Aside, I like Ikea. Most not for me at my life stage, but it is functional and modern style furnishings at a price-point for young people starting out. (some assembly required).

No Ikea in Hawaii. :( Have to have 2 million potential buyers before we can get one. One store, Haul2HI, has an Ikea showroom and catalogs, and it arranges for shipping and delivering items on Oahu.

I loved going to Ikea in Australia. It had childcare, so I'd drop off the kid. I wandered around and looked at everything, like it was a museum of Scandinavian modern life. Then we'd have lunch at the store and head home. LOL We both loved doing that.
