Scir, hadn't heard about Pete but Mike and Pete are tight seditionist bros. One thing Frank is doing is what Mike stupidly calls "reverse engineering", which means when you sign up, you automatically will be forced to follow his chosen "influencers". So if you don't want them, you'll have to unfollow them. No idea if there are levels or that's just BS, but it's going to force all these clowns in your feed. Laughed hearing it, yet another thing to break with the sub/unsub server requests (there's a reason Twitter limits those). The "influencers" will be going nuts and they'll be lapping at Lindell to get on the list.

The title of the document is misleading. Lewin is moving the pro hac admission of several other attorneys.

Lindell’s Gullible $arrest was a success, Frank not so much

Are we using this for non-Dominion Mike Lindell stuff? If not, let me know where and I'll move.

I was curious about Lindell's (lack of) Frank site. I read Thursday that the VIP access didn't happen. I googled around and saw people were quite upset it didn't launch. It now looks like VIP is Sunday and everyone else is Monday. Curious to see how that goes.

Oh good. Now Lindell is getting legal help from Alan Dershowitz to advance the claim that the First Amendment protects defamation.

“I’ve been on conference calls repeatedly with [Lindell’s] legal team, sometimes Lindell is on, sometimes he’s not,” Dershowitz said in a phone interview last week. “My role is to come up with ideas as they pertain to the First Amendment. I give them cases, and I suggest First Amendment theories—my role is limited to advising on the First Amendment issues at hand.”



Dershowitz said he personally recommended Lewin to Team Lindell, and gave a brief preview of what could likely come from the Lindell side as litigation progresses.

“Our position is that Dominion is the government, for purposes of the First Amendment,” he said. “The government delegated to them the most important governmental function, mainly counting votes in a presidential election. And they are therefore subject to criticism in the exact same ways that the government would be subject to criticism in that situation. And criticism of how the government conducted a presidential election is the highest bar protecting the First Amendment right to criticize such action.”

Dominion is the government in the same sense that I am the government because I am a registered voter. This strategy is going nowhere, but best of luck to Lindell and his team of cranky old men with law degrees.

Whenever I hear legal arguments like that, I always imagine a team on Family Feud all nodding and yelling "Good answer" only to discover it's not even on the board.

They're not countersuing, but rather initiating a new suit claiming that MyPillow has been damaged by Dominion's lawsuit. I have no idea anymore.

On the "Frankathon", with Mike Flynn as Kathie Lee to Lindell's Regis, Lindell reads a text from a Business Insider reporter asking for a PDF of the lawsuit. Regis and Kathie Lee use that for five minutes whining how unfair it is to ask when the case has just been filed, how "journalism is dead", and how nobody wanted to write about Absolute Proof but when Dominion sued, they were all over it. Snowflakes.

Here it is:

MyPillow has filed its countersuit against Dominion, alleging that its employees "live in fear" and have been threatened because of Dominion's "illegal campaign of intimidation." The filing also references McCarthyism and cancel culture.
