Here's link to Finicum v. United States of America (2:18-cv-00160) on Court Listener where a few of the docket entries are downloadable/viewable. The last four entries from Jan 29 to Feb 5 (169-172) are available for viewing. I have a barely used PACER account and the RECAP add-on automatically uploads to the website when I click "buy on PACER" and I bought #172 on Monday. Except I don't get charged because PACER doesn't bill if quarterly purchases are under $30. So if there's a docket entry you're interested in viewing, let me know and I will grab it.

Thanks Poppy - IANAL but guess that this is a dig at Philpoot.

Wait, is Pisspot claiming that the Oregon State Police and FBI had no "probably" cause to stop the occupiers of Malheur and to stop LeVoy after he bolted?

I've seen this video, he bolted out of the car, ran towards an Officer with a gun and I think might have even fired it.... and someone is suing the police?
Gotcha.

Well, he tried to drive around the road block, but there was about a foot of snow on the ground and he just plowed into the snow bank and got stuck, not before making an officer jump out of the way. He then jumped out of the car was probably imagining a sprint to the tree line, but found himself stuck in the snow. The gun was in his jacket pocket, and never left. He appeared to try to draw a couple of times, but was shot before he had a chance to try for the third time. Not a good outcome, but it could have been worse.

Yeah, and if memory serves, one of the passengers in his truck recorded the sound, and he was yelling "You're going to have to shoot me!"
So they did. Boo hoo.

(FBI footage sync with Gun it Shawna's - includes "where are the guns?")

There was a gun in that jacket pocket and there was lots of conspiracies on the loser side about how it must have been planted, becasue it had turned in his pocket to lie flat with the handle up. That's probably why he couldn't get it out though he tried 3 times to fast draw it out.

Bob couldn't live up to his snuff dreams of being the Cowboy that guns down the ebil feds.
"That represents an enormous loss of income for the Finicums. According to a 2010 tax filing, Catholic Charities paid the family $115,343 to foster children in 2009. That year, foster parents were compensated between $22.31 and $37.49 per child, per day, meaning if the Finicums were paid at the maximum rate, they cared for, on average, eight children per day in 2009."
