Opening arguments have finished. DOJ told jury Timothy Hale-Cusanelli "genuinely believes" in civil war and that Jewish interests control President Biden. That's why, they said, he entered the Capitol. He lamented they didn't have enough people to hold it indefinitely.

Some tidbits.
A white supremacist Jan. 6 defendant, a man who believes he’s a member of a superior race, just spent a lot of time insisting to a D.C. jury that he didn’t know that Congress met at the U.S. Capitol.
Thomas Hale-Cusanelli conceded that the claim “sounds idiotic, and it is.”

So, if he didn't know Congress met at the Capitol building, why did he think occupying the building would stop the Election being certified?
Diet Hitler does not think much of us untermenchen.

Sentencing today in Jan 6 case of Tim Hale-Cusanelli
Feds seek 6-years, arguing he helped lead mob moving forward. Defense asks for "time served"
Defense argues feds' release of this photo was cynical, "tainted" jury. They argue photo was "visual joke at.. politician's expense"
I broke the link so we didn't have his Hitler mug shots in the thread again.

And we all look forward to reading about his struggle, I'm sure. If only he could come up with a catchy name to describe his struggle, something that would be memorable and fall trippingly off the tongue.

Not sure the “alleged” is needed.

In our litigious society, best kept in, just in case. Though I'd keep putting it in air quotes, the way you do.
