Just weeks before an election, the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea has been killed in a car crash.
First thoughts were assassination, but perhaps its just an ordinary accident.
The story is not on Australian radio or TV news this morning, as far as I can tell, but it is on the ABC website.

Plus there are on-going riots in West Papua over Indonesian plans to further dilute any native West Papuan autonomy (they have virtually none already).
