One of my if not my favorite cover group. They are not afraid to take on any music, as demonstrated by covering these 3 music icons. And do a fantastic job
Even this Catholic school girl in the '60's recognized Santana's genius!

Bohemian Rhapsody on a pipe organ. For those who are wondering who the folks by his side are, they are pulling various stops as this appears to be a fully mechanical instrument so you cannot change stops (various sets of pipes) by pushing preset combinations under the manuals (keyboards). In addition, he is blind so would have some trouble finding them unless he has spent some time with the instrument (an issue for many who can even see the stop names).
The pedal (feet) work on the fast section at 4:00 or so is fun. Hard rock/metal works rather well with a very heavy instrument with lots of metal.
And the earlier version

If you want to stop before the end, I suggest you jump forward to the ending when it moves to Scooter and Kermit talking. It was done many back before 2011, but is even funnier after the growth of Zoom in the shutdown.

I just posted a 'live' version of this in another thread that was skipping off topic - a video was posted that made me think of Klezmer and the Klezmer Conservatory Band.
So here is a 'studio' version of the song - a "Klezmerized" version of Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me To The End Of Love":
If you want to listen to an interesting eight-minute-long discussion of the genesis of this song, go to: Fitzpatrick Offtopic Hijack
An accordion, being basically a wearable reed organ, can do more than just polkas. I have always liked the Toccata from Léon Boëllmann's Suite Gothique on organ, but I also like it on this recording with accordion.
And here it is on a larger organ (should start at 9:29 which is where the toccata starts but if not, you can jump forward to there, or listen to the entire suite, movements 1-3 I am actually playing myself on Sunday).
I might have shared this on FormerBow (moment of silence), but I really like it and it’s worth sharing again.
Part of this is not really a cover - Dan Navarro (who sings it here) co-wrote the song, but it became far more popular in a cover version by Pat Benatar.
But in this home concert from 2012, Navarro tells the story of writing the song, which involves an interesting musical inspiration. Navarro then sings his song in a mashup with its spiritual sibling.
Well, hopefully, people are going to return to the forum and not know that I managed to restore a lot of the old forum, and I think Guppy was saying "moment of silence" because he didn't know it's available.
Now, it's still just too freakin' honkin' flippin' enormous. I can't do the phpMyAdmin tasks that I do on this site every Sunday morning, because Formerly Fogbow will hang. And I have to convert everything to AlmaLinux, I wrote about that elsethread.
I will work on getting enough access to do backup, repair, and optimize the database for Formerly, but it's a process pain in the ass. I have studied the AlmaLinux documents and I have questions. I think tech support has to give me way more access to my server ... unless they plan to do it themselves. I will send them a ticket this week.
