Oh dear. I just realized I never posted anything by Melissa Etheridge. So here you are -- you get Melissa and Bruce on stage together.
(I did get to see her in concert once and she's a tremendous performer and awesome human -- had backstage passes).

The original version of that was the song hubby and I had for our first (and only) dance at our wedding reception. I always get choked up when I hear it because it brings up such a wonderful memory. Thanks for sharing this version

Okay, I'm looking at the radar and looking out my window.
Change up. Love or hate it, it's up to you. I play anything -- I always loved this song.
If Ian kills me tomorrow, this will be my last song posting

neon, that is a great song. I loved the video as well. I sure as heck hope it's not your last song posting, but if it is, bravo! You went out a winner!

Thanks. Avicii was a Swedish techno DJ. He started when he was a teenager. His name was Tim Bergling, born 1989. He died a few years ago. Very talented young man.
Bergling retired from touring in 2016, after several years of stress and poor mental health. On 20 April 2018, he committed suicide while on holiday in Muscat, Oman. In 2019, his third and final album, Tim, was released posthumously.
I am glad you enjoy his composition. "Levels" is his best known. He does not act in the video and only appears for a couples seconds in a desk photograph.

I will have to check out some of his other work, thanks for the background info. I watched the video again to notice the photo more closely. I remembered the closeup of the photo on the desk on my first viewing of the video and wondered about the significance of it. He was quite handsome as well as talented. A sad loss.

I had the good fortune to see both Queen and the Eurythmics live (at separate shows). Both concerts were amazing. The Eurythmics show started off with Annie sitting in a steel loop high above the stage. As the loop came down, the curtains pulled back, giving the effect of a humongous zipper being undone. That's just one of those images that will always stick with me - it was just so much fun! The music both nights was just magical, too!
