Darn, it appears I've been stuck in the 80s for the moment. But I always liked this song.

Told ya I will play anything that I like. Probably the only genre/style of music you will never see me post is "death metal" -- "metal" perhaps, but death metal hurts my ears, head and soul.

Some years ago, I had an MRI. People asked me if claustrophobia was a problem, to which I said, it was not. However, I did feel it was a little early in the morning to be listening to John Cage.

Oh yeah!
Did you notice that Ella was directing the band and Duke was watching her very closely?
Did you notice the sax player going 'WTF' when Duke took his break and went into the weird time signature?

I resemble that remark.
Too also, I'm not big on "hip-hop/rap/whatever they call it this week" either. But I don't mind some of it, and by 'some' I mean very little. However, after seeing "Hamilton" live, my intolerance is softening.

There's almost no rap I can stomach. It just doesn't work for me. Not even when Geddy Lee tried it. There's a lot,of metal that I do like, but I can't listen to the "draino-drinking" vocalizations (you really can't call it singing, IMO) because that triggers my tourette's tics.keith wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 12:08 amI resemble that remark.

While having my MRI, I thought the sounds made a perfect percussion symphony.
