In this regard, the publications of injurious falsehoods were intended to occur in the Southern District of Florida, and they did occur in the Southern District of Florida. So where a plaintiff and a defendant reside is irrelevant. And the plaintiff didn't reside in 2016 in Florida.A civil action may be brought in ... a judicial district in which a substantial part of the events or omissions giving rise to the claim occurred, or a substantial part of property that is the subject of the action is situated....
But other than vague, conclusory "and Florida was affected" allegations, there's nothing linking this case to Florida. Meanwhile, the DNC is headquartered in DC, and Clinton's campaign was headquartered in New York.
This suit is a Klayman-esque grift, not designed to win but to chum for rubes with loose wallets. And, like Klayman, it was filed in a venue that was most convenient for the plaintiff's lawyer.

His ego gets in the way.
He will SAY he believes anything that he thinks will help him at the moment.

The fact that MSM can't warp their collective head around this--or refuse to do so because it would blow up their reporting methodology and templates--is a serious problem.

If he just believed in his own greatness he would be Marlon Brando - not giving a fuck what anyone thought of him.
But he does not. So he makes people applaud him say he is great, desperately tries to hang out with big men, talks about how people like him and have emotional outbursts, proves he really won an election, take revenge to make himself the alpha again at every slight, sues people who say he is just a millionaire, etc.

Am I correct in my belief that a defendant can demand a trial RIGHT FRIKKEN NOW and if the Plaintiff says "but we'z ain't ready yet" you can say "they you shoulda maybe waited to file, let's go!
I mean, the court has scheduling issues but clear the calendar, Martha, we're gonna hear this very impotent case now!

No.
The right to a speedy trial applies only to criminal prosecutions.

I'm aware, but isn't it hard for the plaintiff to delay it?

"Civil RICO" is a thing, i.e., there is a civil cause of action for RICO.
But it is complex. And, as alluded to (here and elsewhere), conclusory allegations of "YOU DID THE RICO!!!" aren't going survive a motion to dismiss.
Query: Does this plaintiff even want to survive a motion to dismiss? Or is he just playing the martyr (while begging for more money)?

He did it to disclose home addresses of all the defendants. He wants you to go to their houses and fuck them up. If you won't do it, someone else will. It's all about doxxing his enemies in a legal way.

Agreed.
These MAGA assholes don’t have to worry about their security! Like people won’t fill the streets in front of Clarence Thomas’s house. But the terrorists in Michigan were outside SOS Jocelyn Benson’s home with long guns! I’ve been thinking about this for a long time.

After filing a $72 million lawsuit against Hillary Clinton over the 2016 election, Trump’s attorney Alina Habba says more lawsuits are coming as soon as next week: “There’s more to come soon .. Anybody that’s going to try and make up malicious stories .. is going to be sued.”
