According to various online reviews, the bathrooms are like the one in Trainspotting. The entire parking lot is a dirt lot.

There is no overnight parking.
Is that business even open? It looks as if it's been abandoned. Check out the weeds in what would normally be planted flower beds.

It's Wyoming, and those are the flowers. Welcome to the high plains desert aka Snow Chin Minh Trail.

You'd be surprised how much of America looks abandoned and decayed.

Several of the reviews are nasty racist, however (if I have the right location).

You would not be surprised how abandoned and decayed Wyoming looks ... everywhere. Even their population centers have that less-than-one-person-per-square-mile feel. When you have to top off your tank to make sure you can drive to the next town, you know you're in Wyoming.

Gossip:

*There's another covid outbreak in the convoy. 2 members have been hospitalized. One member isn't expected to survive.

Of course, these infected members are interacting with average people, many of whom are in the service industry. NO ONE wears a mask. Ever.

*After a big fight with Proud Boy Santa, Freedom Ford has been kicked out of the convoy. FF has been with the convoy for a long time. Santa is now an official on site leader.

*Sansak, who was with the convoy from day one, left the convoy in CA, rejoined the convoy 2 days ago, and is again leaving the convoy once it reaches DC. He's just fine with driving and honking but he refuses to participate in the convoy’s "secret missions". I find this significant. When he first left the group it was because he needed to work. Now he, as an elder in the convoy, is publicly asserting that these "secret missions" are inappropriate.

*I'm becoming even more convinced that the convoy is actually a caravan of homeless people.

This morning, a Nissan broke down ... again.

Eric the Mechanic: "This car shouldn't even be on the road."

The driver admitted that the Nissan dealership told her that her car needed work when they checked the engine yesterday. She ignored the dealership's mechanics and broke down again this morning.

The mechanics are close to blowing their gaskets.

Convoy now has a school bus.

Convoy ... GOT LOST. Once the convoy figured out everything a driver got lost. While following the convoy.

2 more cars have broken down.

The Sheriff DID NOT WAVE!

More Nissan drama!

After talking with a Nissan specialist, all the convoy mechanics agree with the specialist ... the Nissan must be towed and repaired by a Nissan specialist.

I suspect this will boot the Nissan driver from the convoy. No Nissan dealership is going to rearrange their service schedule, magically have the necessary parts for the repair, and work night and day to get an old, dying Nissan back to the convoy.

And this will be expensive. The car's warranty ended years ago.

I did hear that the Nissan driver had gotten a call recently regarding the extended warranty so they probably have that going for them.

Buying those policies for work that needed to be done before you bought them is insurance fraud. If you're dumb enough to pay one month's payment and then submit the $4500 new transmission bill, they'll probably check if maybe you first brought it in before you paid them and at the very least refuse the claim. It's not like they have never seen anyone try or they can stay in business if they let it happen.

I don't have an exact date, but the Nissan is 15-20 years old.

Breakdown #4 just happened. That I know of.
