My furbabies are learning to share! 
Well, sleeping spaces, at least. Not toys. Never toys. If we give each of them identical toys, each one will try to end up having both of them - and if we throw a 3rd option in, they both want that one, too. Their shared mantra seems to be "NO TOYS FOR THE OTHER DOG!!
We've now had Von, our boy (laying on his stomach) for about 6 months, and Sasha, our girl, for 4. They're both January babies, so Von just turned 2 on Jan 13 and Sasha turned 1 on Jan 27.

Thanks for the nice comments about my dogs! It is nice having 2 larger dogs. Sasha isn't quite as big as she looks there - she's only about 50 lbs while Von is 80-85. Sasha just stretches out really long. She can take up that whole couch by herself when she wants to - hehe Von tends to stay more compact when he's lying down

Posted in the titular Mama June topic... on 1000 Lb Sisters they have a dog named Little Bit. But her real name is Little Bitch -- the producers of the TV show made them change it. Imagine the stories she could tell.

I decided to find out what all breeds go into making up my dogs. Von's results are still pending, but I got Sasha's today.
When we adopted her, we were told she was a Lab Mix, and I've thought she looks like she maybe had some Boston Terrier and Pit Bull in her. The Pit Bull is the only one of those that was right. I'm trying to figure out where she's hiding the Great Bernard and Great Pyrenees! Fortunately, our area does not have breed restriction laws, but rather laws based on an individual dog's behaviour, so she isn't illegal to have here.

After getting Sasha's breed results, I decided to get her health results as well, and learned that she doesn't have a genetic predisposition to any of the over 200 conditions they test for, which is, of course, very welcome news!
While I was doing some of the surveys they have to help with their research, I discovered that Sasha doesn't have any nipples and I have no idea why. Has this happened to anyone else's dog, or does anyone know what might cause it? I'm pretty sure it's nothing to be worried about as she's been seen by a couple vets and they never mentioned it, but I'm always curious about stuff like that
