(CNN)Like other newborn puppies, Skipper likes to eat, drink water and go to the bathroom.

But the border collie and Australian shepherd mix is unique from the rest of her litter: She was born with six legs.

"This is a miracle named Skipper. Literally," Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma wrote on its Facebook page on February 21. "She has survived longer than we suspect any other canine has (at just 4 days old - published research does not indicate one has been born alive) with her combination of congenital conditions. You might notice she looks a little different - 6 legs!"

Skipper was born naturally -- along with eight brothers and sisters -- on February 16 in Oklahoma during a big snowstorm, Dr. Tina Neel, owner of the Neel Veterinary Hospital, told CNN.

After the storm, Neel said Skipper's owners brought her in to the hospital so vets could examine her.

I'm getting a Bernedoodle. Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix puppy on April 25.. they come in three sizes, small, medium and large. Getting the medium, full grown 25 to 40 pounds. We get to see it for the 1st time on March 17.
Always a dog person but haven't had one for 20 years.. The stray cat we took in 7 years ago might not won't be happy.

You created your dog thread after I'd created this one, so Foggy merged them.

This is Matu. He was adopted by my friends, Tim & Jamie, through an international doggie adoption group.

Matu was a street dog in Moscow, possibly an escaped bait dog. His ears were mangled by either an inept attempt at cropping or from fighting.

One of his most favoritest things these days is sunny days on the patio in his lounge chair.

Major & Champ have been sent back to Delaware.

I think Major is protective and stressed by all the people in and around the White House.
The two German Shepherds belonging to President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden were returned to the Biden family home in Delaware last week after aggressive behavior at the White House involving Major Biden, two sources with knowledge tell CNN.
<snip>
Major, who is 3 years old, is the younger of the two Biden dogs, and has been known to display agitated behavior on multiple occasions, including jumping, barking, and "charging" at staff and security, according to the people CNN spoke with about the dog's demeanor at the White House. The older of Biden's German Shepherds, Champ, is approximately 13 and has slowed down physically due to his advanced age.

"I've been getting obsessed with getting our dogs settled because we have an old dog and we have a very young dog," Jill Biden told Kelly Clarkson last month during an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show." "They have to take the elevator, they're not used to that, and they have to go out on the South Lawn with lots of people watching them. So that's what I've been obsessed with, getting everybody settled and calm."

He bit a security guard.

I wonder if he is reactive to men in uniform?

Security guard probably did not understand nor heed his warnings.
