This brought my cat into the room. He immediately went to the window to check out what was happening outside. When he realized it was coming from the laptop, he got closer with a lot of trepidation. He jumped to the floor and proceeded to do a call and response to the cats in the video. He does not enunciate as clearly as the video cats, but he does give it a good effort.

Cat friends: you may have seen my posts about our new baby tuxies Tux and Juniper, both one year and several months old. In other words, kittens, and so, so cute. Of course they are both fixed, from the rescue org we adopted them from. However Tux, our male kitty, keeps trying to mount little Juniper. He is twice her size. I said to my son that he is trying to make her his wife, which caused him to become upset and say "Don't say that!"

Any advice, or is it nothing to worry about and just be amused at cute kitty antics? Otherwise they are insanely hilarious and rocket around the house playing with improbable objects like bottle caps, sticks, and used kleenex.

My friend had a male cat and his wife had a female cat both fixed before they even were around each other. He did the same thing, even crazier, one night I was spending the night at his house with him and my friend and his wife were asleep, when her cat came out a started caterwauling calling to him, he rushed out from behind a couch, jumped on her back and bit her neck...

Then realized that neither of them had the plumbing to go any further. This kept up for the rest of the male cat's years, I don't think there's anything that you can do but let love bloom...

In the private chat group, Running with the Pack, on Progressive Arkansas Women PAC's Facebook account, every Saturday is Caturday. Yesterday someone posted a picture of her cat -Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt. We are in the South, of course, so everyone must have a middle name for purposes of calling you to come or diatribes. Hers is Artemis Sue! :rotflmao:

No matter how big, they are still as curious and playful as house cats, it seems.

As I mentioned in the Don’t Make Us Worry thread, I’m visiting Nepal. This is Lucy. She is, I was told by someone who works there, the manager of the Kathmandu Guest House. She is a very gracious hostess.

OMG at breakfast this am she jumped up into this guy’s lap while he was eating. He just let her stay there and purr.

I suspect some folks here would not accept that. I might be surprised at first but could be willing to let her stay, as long as I could still eat. I grew up with cats.

Speaking of purring, on the opening scene of The Godfather they had acquired a cat for him to hold (possibly a stray, don't remember). They suddenly were in fear that they would have to record the lines and dub them in because the cat was purring loudly.

You can here it when they finally turn the camera on Brando.

I like cats, but discovered that I'm allergic to them. Having them take up residence on my lap just wouldn't work. Looking online, it looks like an estimated 10-20% of the adults in the world are allergic to cats.

My cat does that every effing day. Its an expected ritual and she's grumpy all day if I chase her off.
Has everybody heard about the bird?
