The new hosting company has apparently set some sort of internal policy where I can't get the board to send an email. Of course, I can look up anyone's email address that they used to register, and send them an email using Thunderbird. But if you sign up to be notified about new posts in a thread, you won't get the email, and I'll get an error logged in my administration control panel.
So I disabled the email function entirely. We'll just have to work around that, until I persuade the hosting company to stop blocking my site from automatically sending PHP emails out.
