NYT has really dropped the ball on their coverage. The predictions went down before 9 PM EST and are still down.

There are still 428k votes out in the 4 large Atlanta metro counties and Warnock is winning them large margins. These may be same day votes so Warnock may not carry by what he has so far but I would rather be him.

Fulton alone has 163k remaining with Warnock leading +65%.

Dave Wasserman has called it for Warnock.

NYT just updated their estimated chances of winning putting warnock at 95% with a margin of 3.1 for warnock

Walker is underperforming his numbers from november everywhere but Pickens County where his numbers increased.

NYT shows an estimated margin of +3% so likely will be called tonight.

I don't think Republicans have thousands of grassroots letter and postcard writing campaigns. They mostly rely upon billionaires dropping $$$ on states.

Thank you GOP of GA for picking the weakest possible candidate to run against Sen Warnock. We appreciate it, though you could have saved us all some time and money, and yourself enormous embarrassment, by forfeiting the race from the beginning. We'll take it from here, and ensure he becomes a permanent fixture in the US Senate. Thank you very much. Or as they say in the South - Bless your heart.

Well, some good news, I guess:

State law does not require an automatic recount of votes. However, based on Georgia H.B. 316 (2019), a candidate can request a recount if the margin is less than or equal to 0.5%.

So, as long as the difference stays at <0.5%, they cannot request a recount unless they can prove shenanigans.
