Is this in the Fogbow dictionary?
Doubt it. I've been using it for a while on Xitter & Facebook, but I don't think I've used or seen it here.

It might take a bag of boberts to decide if a box of boberts is better. And I don't think any of us what to be present when that much stupid in the same place. It might form a stupid singularity. I vote no.

So, speaking of Azirona*, today I read someplace (briefly) an Xcrement about an elected AZ rep that proposed new legislation to allow the Legislature to overturn a popular vote. Constitutionality aside, clearly wrongheaded. Any truth to the report?

TIA

Yeah, it's true. They are a bunch of morans in my legislature. It isn't going anywhere, even if it passes Katie Hobbs will never sign it.

Ah. So, they'll forward another attempt to impeach Biden instead. Got it. Just another day. (yawn)

Arizona GOP advances bill legalizing killing undocumented migrants on suspicion of trespassing

Arizona Republicans are advancing a bill that would allow people to legally kill someone accused of attempting to trespass or actively trespassing on their property.

The big picture: The legislation, which is expected to be vetoed if it reaches the state's Democratic governor, would legalize the murder of undocumented immigrants, who often have to cross ranches that sit on the state's border with Mexico.

• State Rep. Justin Heap (R.) said the bill is intended to close a loophole by which migrants have moved within the U.S., per the Arizona Mirror.

Context: George Alan Kelly, an Arizona rancher, was accused of killing a migrant, Gabriel Cuen Buitimea, walking through his 170-acre property last year, per the Arizona Republic.

• His trial is set for March 21, per the AP.

What's inside: "Premises" is defined in the bill to mean any property or structure, "occupied or not."

• Arizona law already allows the use of deadly force against home intruders if deemed necessary for protection.

• The bill expands the existing doctrine from a home intrusion to a home or property intrusion.

Anyone who followed any of the court cases, anyone who paid any attention to the news, anyone who knew even a smidge about how elections work, should have known these HIGHLY SPECIFIC, easily falsifiable, claims were, in fact, false.

And those false claims -- broadcast to millions of people, often while seeking donations -- had, no surprise, a very material impact on me and mine.

Arizona’s Trump electors subpoenaed in grand jury investigation
The subpoenas seek testimony from Republicans who signed official-looking paperwork falsely reporting that Donald Trump won Arizona in 2020

An Arizona grand jury has issued subpoenas to Republicans who took part in the attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election by signing and transmitting paperwork that falsely purported to show Donald Trump had won the state’s 11 electoral votes.

The total number of subpoenas issued to the Trump electors is unclear. But most of the 11 had received the legal documents on Wednesday, according to a person familiar with the paperwork but not authorized to talk about them publicly. The subpoenas request each of the Republicans testify before the grand jury about their involvement in the elector plan.

They are part of a year-long investigation by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D), who has indicated that her office would soon conclude the criminal probe.
