It was the other Dakota, but both are indistinguishable from each other.

Since it's a GOP state, they won't care unless he had Hunter Biden's laptop in the trunk.

I wonder if actually the kids played a prank at some schools and requested the adults put those litterboxes in place. :?:

I note that none of these persons making the litter boxes claim offers up any photo/video evidence of such. Kids have cellphone cameras -- hard to believe there would be no evidence. Although, it would be funny if teens start covertly putting in litter boxes to mess with the supposed adult's heads.

I think these right-ist jerks would just up their game and claim that kids are going around "identifying as litter boxes". You really can't win rolling in the kitty litter with these folks.

Of course, 'cause this is a Florida county. Thank you DeSantis. :smoking:

Let the lawsuits commence when they start doling out corporal punishment upon students in their charge.

Chris Christie's niece kicked off New Orleans plane, injured 6 deputies, officials say
She asked passengers she perceived to be Latino if they were 'smuggling cocaine'
A niece of former New Jersey Gov. was arrested on Thanksgiving Day at Louis Armstrong International Airport.

After getting forced off an airplane for asking passengers who appeared to her to be Latino whether they were drug mules, a niece of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie bit, kicked and spit on Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies trying to detain her on Thanksgiving Day at Louis Armstrong International Airport, authorities said.

Shannon Epstein, 25, boarded the Spirit Airlines flight to New Jersey on Nov. 24 at about 6 a.m., and asked a family who were near her and whom she perceived to be Latino if they were "smuggling cocaine," said Capt. Jason Rivarde, a Sheriff's Office spokesperson. Airline workers requested Epstein be removed from the plane as she became increasingly irate, and the plane, which had started to taxi to the runway, returned to the gate, Rivarde said Friday.

When deputies arrived, Epstein refused to exit the jet bridge into the terminal, Rivarde said. When they tried to arrest her, she became "extremely combative," Rivarde said.

In the scuffle, she injured six deputies, biting one on the arm and breaking the skin, and kicking another in the groin, Rivarde said. They were treated there by paramedics.

All the while, Epstein shouted that the deputies were going to lose their jobs or end up in jail, boasting that she was related to powerful people and that her uncle is a friend of former President Donald Trump, Rivarde said. Chris Christie did not return messages left Friday at two telephone numbers associated with him.

Seven deputies were needed to handcuff Epstein to a wheelchair, so that she could be moved to the airport security office, Rivarde said. She continued to shout vulgarities and try to bite deputies, he added.

They booked Epstein with six counts of battery on a police officer, three of disturbing the peace, one of resisting arrest by force and one of remaining after forbidden, Rivarde said. She paid $10,750 bail and was released from the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center later on Thanksgiving Day.

Epstein is scheduled to return to Jefferson Parish for court on Jan. 23, although Rivarde said most airline-related cases move to federal court.
Entitled like her uncle, who was permitted to use a state beach while it was closed to everyone else due to state budget cuts. (https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way ... -the-beach)

I think was was a time when close relatives of prominent Republicans tried not to embarrass them in public.

Also, resisting arrest and assaulting police offices usually doesn't end well for the arrested person.

A little vocabulary lesson for us that describes certain politicians of the Republican persuasion:

Flapdoodler: Nineteenth Century slang for a dissembling political speaker.

Roorback: A rumor that is circulated for political gain.

Adullamite: A person dissatisfied with the current political outlook. (Granted this could be applied across the board.)

Grantism: An eponym from President U. S. Grant who advanced political cronyism and nepotism during his term in office.

Source of all the above is Paul Anthony Jones and his book, "Everything about the Origins and Oddities of Language You Never Thought to Ask."

Florida Ex-Congressman Arrested Over Secret Contract With Venezuela
Former Representative David Rivera and a longtime associate were charged with conspiracy and failure to register as foreign agents, among other crimes.

MIAMI — A former Republican congressman who was secretly hired for $50 million by Venezuela’s state-run oil company to peddle the prospect of a thaw in U.S.-Venezuela relations to Washington was arrested on Monday and charged with conspiracy, failure to register as a foreign agent and other crimes, federal authorities said.

Law enforcement officers arrested former Representative David Rivera of Florida in the Atlanta area, said Marlene Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Rivera, who served in Congress from 2011 to 2013 after a career in the State Legislature, is Cuban American and known in Florida politics as a strident anti-communist.

So the dude who was under a years-long investigation for paying someone to run a dark horse campaign to split the ticket and weaken support for his opponent -- i.e., an on-steroids version of the 'support the worst primary candidate of the other side' tactics the GOP now complains about the Democrats doing -- with the help of corrupt allies with ties to Nicaragua was somehow doing shady business with, for, and on behalf of Nicaragua.

Color me surprised. And I'm colorblind, so I have no idea what color that is.
