Can you fight off hostile invaders and smallpox by sitting on your ass in a mansion eating burgers and whining?

Two weeks ago he had Desantis working at Pizza Hut without him. Now it’s McDonalds.
someone I read on you tube today did a bit about "nick alpha male . he is disgusting talking about 4 ways and hooters and making his dates clean up after him. He isn't any kind of male-he is a misogynistic prick.

I will try to find it

How long is this whiny schtick going to play with even hard-core MAGA voters? I mean, I know they will believe him, but when he rants about it nonstop in his campaign rallies/grievance whinefests, how long can they tolerate it?

This is some post-verdict jury instruction: you could get killed or injured, certainly harassed, definitely trolled so don't identify yourself and don't identify anybody else.

Trump's strongest legacy will always be violence as an extension of our democratic processes.

Judge in E. Jean Carroll case advises jurors not to identify themselves after finding Trump liable of sexual abuse and defamation and ordering him to pay $5 million in damages.
Judge tells jurors they can now identify themselves pubicly but advises them not to
From CNN's Lauren del Valle

Before dismissing the jury, Judge Lewis Kaplan informed them that they are now allowed to identify themselves publicly, if they choose — but advised them not to.

"My advice to you is not to identify yourselves. Not now and not for a long time," Kaplan said.

"If you're one who elects to speak to others and to identify yourselves to others, I direct you not to identify anyone else who sat on this jury," Kaplan added. "Each of you owes that to the other(s) whatever you decided for yourself."

Not a problem in a functional society
A duty that should not be avoided

No salt needed for me (my cardiologist would be pleased). Stories of TFG's abuse and rage and name calling against people who work for him have been legion--just underreported and normalized. I expect the number of people willing to talk and/or sue will only grow following the Carroll case.

CNN Is Hosting a Town Hall for a Guy Who Tried to Get Me Killed
Donald Trump tried to end American democracy. Why is CNN throwing him a rehabilitation party?
BY MICHAEL FANONE

I woke up last week to a text from my mother. Its contents hit me like a sucker punch. “CNN is hosting a town hall with Trump; Kaitlin Collins is moderating. WTF!!!” Then came confirmation, CNN will in fact host a town hall on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in primetime.

I can already hear the questions: And why shouldn’t they? Donald Trump is the clear Republican frontrunner for the presidency enjoying at least 70 percent of the Republican primary vote. Why wouldn’t it be appropriate for a network to have him on?

My response to those questions is simple: Twice-impeached former President Donald J. Trump lied countless times to the American people, most famously when he told us (and continues to tell us) that the 2020 presidential election was rigged and that he was the winner.

So what, you say? They are just words — and certainly not the first time a politician has lied to constituents.

Not only Australian born but raised and lived in Australia a significant time. His Australian accent is heavy.

This is when he took residency in the US "President Donald Trump appointed Adams, in 2020, to the Board of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.[13]"

No, I will not be watching. I'd only consider it if I was assured that someone in the audience would stand up and address tfg as TRiC*.

* I know he was not found legally liable for rape by the jury, but that was only because Ms. Carroll was uncertain which body part(s) he used to sexually assault her. So I'll now refer to him as The Rapist in Chief! :fuckyou:

I trust I didn't suggest that differences would be made. Other than the fact that the more people are open about sexual harassment they've endured, and how it is buried, accepted, and otherwise victim-blamed by society, the better.

I am not a fan of the approach to life that unless differences are immediately and specifically made, the action under discussion is pointless. In fact, I think this approach is killing our society.

Anyway, good discussion!
