One never knows whether or not to believe this stuff. New to me. From comments on that post:
@HoosierHippie:
Lauren jumped out of a moving ATV she was drinking and driving and left her son, sister-in-law and dog inside, she has no room to talk about anyone's parenting skills.
I hadn’t heard that before but I don’t doubt. Is she really a Christian? Was she one before she got famous? ( That’s all she wants, she has no love for the real political process) She lays it on a bit too thick, to my ear.

Yeah, there is word that the building she is in got purchased by a marijuana retailer who wants her out, viewing it as a "moral imperative" after she said some stupid shit following the Uvalde shooting. The new owner said they wanted to put a different restaurant in the space. That said, there is also a rumor that the new owners are open to reselling the property, and Boebert is interested in buying. The situation appears a bit nebulous still.

That is the power and draw of 'personal connection/a la carte' religious structures. She can believe and do whatever she likes and still call herself Christian.

Apparently, the new owners are relatives of the old owners, and the marijuana retailer had been there for awhile, at least if I understand The Daily Beast.

Instead of "as dumb as a bag of hammers," we should anoint her "as dumb as 20 pallets of bricks."

Didn't he strap one to the back of the T.Rex he and Jesus rode into battle? I mean, that's the origin of the phrase "Jesus is my co-pilot," right? KNOW YOUR LINGUISTIC HISTORY!
