I think I’ve finally found the catfood to replace the Fancy Crack my kitties are addicted to. It’s called Mouser and is made in part from mice 😸. Not only do they lick their bowls completely clean but it seems to keep them full longer. Gracie no longer complains to mr520 that I don’t feed her enough.

They should enroll Tiffany in a Krav Meow-gah class.

(I'll see myself out.)

My kitty, Trouble, crossed the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. She was a very good cat, a fierce slayer of catnip mousies, and an intrepid chaser of pingpong balls.

Oh no! I always love seeing her napping in your lap in a sunbeam.
How old was she?

She would've been 14 in July. Lymphoma moves fast in kitties.

Trouble was an awesome cat. We are heartbroken.

Tricksy’s not sure what this Rainbow Bridge means. I told her it means no more toys from her friend Trouble but that Trouble now has unlimited treats and mousies. So she’s contemplating her lobster toy that the CA kitty once sent.

Kitty (real name Lilly) has a secret entrance and exit which is open all the time. She loves to be out. So, I was gone for three days - she did have a caretaker. I came home to find three dead bats on the stair landing to my room. That night I heard a commotion in the stairwell. Kitty brought me a baby rabbit. It wasn't chewed up but dead of fright, I suppose. Tonight, she brought me another rabbit and it escaped. Found it in one of my tennis shoes when the dog was all nuts at the shoes. It is still alive. Still in my shoe.

That is my earliest memory of moving to Tucson. The first day I woke up in my new bedroom, I just happened to kick my shoe towards the closet and a scorpion crawled out.

Never saw another scary thing IN the house ever, not even Black Widows. Of course there were scorpions out in the desert scrub near the house, but we never caught them in the house. Gila Monsters in the back yard, Javelinas and coyotes in the alley, sure, but the house seems to have been mutually agreed to be off limits to nasty things.
