Last I checked, Colbert’s people didn’t seek to interrupt and delay a serious proceeding, try to hunt the VP or Senators in order to hang, kidnap and assault them, nor did they beat on or injure any police officers. Other than that, perfect analogy.

They also didn’t smear feces on the walls.

Neither forget: team Colbert had a legit invitation from members of Congress and remained in leggit locations. No brute force self-invitations to off-limits locations.

Because it isn't enough to even prove that something is false, CNN will be required to prove that tfg knew the Big Lie was false, otherwise he wasn't lying and CNN will be on the hook for calling him a liar. Also, CNN is only the beginning, more media companies that called him a liar are going to be sued as well.
