I was still baffled (punctuation or no), so I searched. Omigosh the description at the Brave Books webshite (no, I'm not going to give the blessing of a link):
A fantastical retelling of the terrible true story

Hillary Queenton and her shifty knight had spread lies that King Donald had cheated to become King. They claimed he was working with the Russionians! But how could that be? Join Kash, the Distinguished Discoverer as he uncovers the plot against the King, and who was really behind all the lies.

Is that real?
Edit: Forget it, found the site, it’s real. Wonder if he has a contract with FL school districts yet?

I listened to the Fox News coverage of the case against Sussman earlier. They continually referred to it as "the first" case, heavily implying that many more were coming. What I found really of interest though, was how they framed the case. They stated flat out that "the facts" and "the case" were blindingly simple and an open and shut case, and that the only issues were the jury pool, which they claim is "full of extreme left DC residents," and the judge, an "Obama judge." Also, you would have no idea that the case was about lying to the FBI, they've framed it as every tfg wild accusation proven true. The number of people listening to and believing this coverage makes me uneasy.

You can tell the confidence they have in the case when they were making excuses for the not guilty verdict before the trial even started.

Durham's star cyber agent compared notes with his boss before his first interview.

I understand the FBI frowns on such things.

FoxNews/Brian Kilmeade gave air to tfg's rantings this morning, then asserted that the jury includes two former staffers for AOC and one for Hillary. Oh, and that the case was "major" and the facts were incontrovertible.

It helps to read the whole thread, from my not-a-lawyer POV, it seems the cross exam is not going well and there's some discrepancies coming out.

A top Democratic lawyer took the stand in the first trial stemming from John Durham's investigation.
Marc Elias said the Clinton campaign never authorized the FBI meeting at issue in the prosecution.
Elias called Trump a "bully" and criticized the FBI response to Russia's hack of the DNC.
The top lawyer for Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign labeled Donald Trump a litigious "bully" on Wednesday and recalled feeling "under attack" from Russia's hack of the Democratic National Committee, in trial testimony that reflected on the bitterly contested presidential race.

Marc Elias, a prominent Democratic lawyer and voting rights advocate, took the witness stand in the first trial stemming from Trump-era special counsel John Durham's inquiry into the origins of the Russia investigation. Durham's office called Elias to testify against another lawyer with Democratic ties, Michael Sussmann, who was charged last year with lying to the FBI in connection with a 2016 meeting where he presented internet data purporting to show suspicious contact between servers for the Trump Organization and a Russia-based bank.

I'm confused. The prosecution called Elias, who proceeded to attack trump instead of the defendant?

Probably summoned as a hostile witness.

I'm confused too. It is what it is until we get a reporter not employed by Fox to help us.

@emptywheel (https://twitter.com/emptywheel)appears to be the expert on the Durham case. That said, she is so in depth that I have a hard time following her. If that makes sense. She also has articles on her website which may help you understand - https://www.emptywheel.net/.

Check out Sarah Lynch if you want to see someone tweeting the case live - https://twitter.com/SarahNLynch.

I find that emptywheel assumes you already have knowledge and context of what is being discussed. Which can be, well, trying, at times. Always good info though.

https://nypost.com/2022/05/12/judge-ord ... am-emails/

MY post exults in the fact that Durham "scored a victory" today in that it ordered Fusion to hand over 22 emails to Durham, but then buries in the text that the Judge did so at the request of Clinton's Campaign.
The move came at the request of Clinton’s 2016 campaign, according to the 11-page decision.
