Within their mythology, they are not mutually exclusive. They see the 'man made climate change as claiming capitalism made climate change. So the government can weaponize the weather AND pollution can't cause it.

Put another way, her community does not deny it can happen, only that it can not happen naturally (with american exceptionalism and the industry that comes with it being natural), thus only the unnatural forces of democrats/communists/non-israeli jews/etc actually do it, and only to hurt good money loving christians.
