Former US president Donald Trump has asked an appeals court to revive his lawsuit against Twitter that challenged his permanent suspension from the social platform after his supporters attacked the Capitol in 2021.

Former President Donald Trump said he wishes Elon Musk well in taking over Twitter but he doesn’t plan to return to the platform that banned him.

"I like Elon and I wish him a lot of luck," Mr. Trump, who is considering a 2024 presidential campaign, told Fox News Digital Friday. "I hope he does well with it."

He said he didn’t think Twitter could be successful without him.
