Up until Bert Smith’s death, the NCCS web presence was bare bones, offering only a few products including the vaunted pocket constitution. Their IRS 990s illustrate a small budget, increasing during the years The Bundys were most active, 2014-17.

After Bert’s death and the disposition of his assets, the spree began. Between 2015 and 17, the NFLC's revenue and assets doubled from $4.5 to $9.5 million. In a single year, 2017 to 2018, these net assets were expended by 90%, or almost $8 million.
