Gaetz is doing what every single other rwnj and rwnj media are doing. Follow the leader and do it in lockstep fashion. Apparently our good friend Tucker Carlson suggested that the unindicted co-conspirators in some of the Jan 6 indictments "must be FBI" and therefore they must have planned the whole thing.
From a story in the Washington Post:
Carlson’s theory is essentially that the presence of unindicted co-conspirators in the Capitol riot indictments means those people are government agents and that this, in turn, means the FBI was involved in organizing the riot. The idea has since caught on with conspiratorially minded congressional Republicans.

Listening to any of them, they try to imply it was the SAC and 500 other sworn agents in the crowd. From what I've read in the real, fact based world, it seems like the FBI turned several members who were involved and their only relationship to the FBI were, well, snitches. I took it away from reports that some of them (is it 21 in total?) had immunity plea deals and that makes them "FBI Operatives" which Tucker Carlson then turns into making them FBI agnets, and EmptyGreen turns that into Christopher Wray,

On Thursday, Business Insider reported that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is no longer welcome at Fox News as his legal scandals continued to mount.
"In March, Gaetz appeared on Fox shows at least 19 times, according to an Insider review of Fox News clips, including those the congressman posted to his YouTube channel," reported Robin Bravender and Tom LoBianco. "In April, May, and so far in June? Not once. Gaetz has been 'excommunicated within the Fox News circles,' said a former Gaetz staffer who spoke to Insider anonymously in order to protect professional relationships."
Gaetz is currently under federal investigation amid allegations he and a Florida county tax official, now cooperating with federal prosecutors, transported a teenage girl over state lines for sex, and that drugs and campaign cash were involved in transactions with prostitutes. He has denied all allegations and claimed he is being targeted by a "Deep State" plot.
"It's not worth it for the conservative network to risk putting Gaetz on its airwaves while the high-profile sex trafficking investigation is playing out, according to Republican insiders and media watchdogs," said the report. "Gaetz hurt his relationship with Carlson during the infamous March 30 interview, sources told Insider." During that interview, Gaetz noted that Carlson was also "falsely accused of a terrible sex act," leading to an exchange Carlson said on air was "one of the weirdest interviews I have ever conducted."

It was that train wreck on Carlson March 30th, go back and watch it if you dare. You'll see him volunteering damning info, and trying to pull Carlson down with him in a doomed attempt to save his own neck. They don't need that. Great McCarthy vid here though

I didn't know what you actually meant by that, until I watched the clip of Gen. Mark Milley. Now your meaning is entirely clear.
