He probably figures its like Air Force One. Anywhere he lives (since he's really still the president) is the White House.
He is (was?) fond of calling MaL the “Winter Whitehouse.”

And it's stupid to tell a really blatantly obvious lie, because you get caught, and you look bad.
But, his base will never admit that he was caught in a lie, even one as obvious and blatently false as this one, and he will NEVER look bad in their eyes.

Remember, he wasn't speaking to you and me in that speech. He was talking to the MAGA base.

So, I hope they did search and if they conduct another search, they conduct a search of those particular rooms because documents will be found there. (Excuse will be Barron needed those documents for a school project).
Trump has no concept of what happens in real searches. They treated his place like the Sistine Chapel. I would love to see axes being taken to walls, you know, a real search.

Exactly. “Guest room” in this context likely doesn’t mean the same thing as it would for the spare bedrooms in my house. The “guests” in those guest rooms have an expectation of privacy that even people visiting my house likely wouldn’t have if the cops showed up with a warrant, because the guests at Mar-A-Lago would have exclusive use of those rooms.

Once again echoing Nixon and his "Western White House." It's really scary how much those two have in common. I finished reading "Watergate: A New History" by Garret Graff, and there were so many things that Nixon said or did that 50 years later were coming from Trump. Unfortunately, in the meantime, Newt Gingrich got his hands on the Republican party and taught them the politics of personal destruction which after a few years of de-evolution rendered them incapable of caring about the country enough to stand up to an unabashed criminal and overall creep and kick him to the curb like they ought to have done.

Today the OSG swims to a Western MA IHOP (International Something) to campaign for The Art of the Diehl, whose fans sailed away decades ago.

The "raid" on his private residence was all an effort to rig the current and next elections. I guess. Who knows. The mental gymnastics involved in coming up with pretty much any position of any of these MAGA leaders and supporters is exhausting for any non-MAGAt.

To be fair, those of us who remember when Pence was going to do all the heavy lifting of actual work and TFG was going to just soak up the adulation as a Figurehead President would have been alright to call them FPOTUS thereby, anyway.

Several of the replies are saying that's an old video.

It just reminded me about how weak TFG's voice is.

I'd like to know who writes that shit for him. He sticks to a very precise message these days, it's either him or the end of the universe. Maybe he thinks he can pardon himself and his family if he gets back in office.

On that note it's ironic that his pet Judge this weekend pretty much trashed everything a the courts did to try to rein Nixon in as much as they could. U.S V Nixon, (Executive Privilege falls before a criminal case) and Nixon V G.S.A. (A former President does not have absolute control control of Privilege in regards to his own papers) were just totally trashed all in one long weekend.

I don't EVER FRIGGIN EVER AGAIN want to hear a Republican say the words "Radical Activist Judges" without bursting into flames.

Now I am not a fan of football, professional or college, but this sounds like a big deal...

HE SCHEDULED A RALLY IN OHIO DURING AN OHIO STATE FOOTBALL GAME.
 :confuzzled: Isn't Gym an Ohio guy? Which will he choose?

OUtside of Columbus not so big a deal.

In Columbus I think by law every venue that holds more than 25 people is closed except for Ohio State parties to watch the game. :rotflmao:
