Yes, however, the seizure order will keep the plane in Russia, where it's no longer a status symbol but a display piece. It won't fly much longer without access to Western maintenance and spare parts. If it lands anywhere in a US-allied country, it gets grabbed. No more use of the company jet to go on vacation in the French Riviera or wherever rich Russian kleptocrats like to go.

I observe and note the movement.

On the other hand, I don't see any effing argument at all for Russia to retain its seat on the UN Sec. Counc. But maybe that's just me.

I’m of two minds. Part of me says that anything other countries can do to make individual Russians feel the pain of their government’s policies is worth doing because it would tend to erode support among the populace.

The other part says that when the Russian government is controlling the narrative, both as to the war and the sanctions, keeping Russian tourists in Russia won’t expose them to viewpoints about their government that they’re not currently seeing.

I think a comparative bar graph image on a t-shirt would sell like hotcakes.

New sanctions need to cause serious pain if they are going to be effective.

There must be things that Russians need that they can only get from the west.

I've been deeply concerned that JPC was forced to sell his yacht because of the falling stock values in Trump Social.

This yacht is for sale and we (the Fogbow "we") should be able to pick this baby up for a coupla greenbacks. JPC has probably been notified of the sale by the yacht broker.
