Looking real healthy today without his makeup playing in the Saudi golf event at his course.

I don't understand how anyone thinks we can have a president in bed with the Saudis in his and his children's private businesses and have it not affect the country's business. I guess they figure it's all good because of how honorable tfg is.

Re: trump (the former guy)
I for one think he actually looks better without the makeup. All it does is make him look as fake on the outside as he is on the inside, which I suppose keeps him in brand.
To be fair, I always wonder at folks who overdo makeup, and I wonder what they are trying to accomplish.

In a legal brief filed this week, Trump's lawyers urged the U.S. Court Appeals for the District of Columbia to find that that the judge wrongly concluded that courts should look at the contents of a president’s remarks when deciding whether immunity applies. “Examining the contents of a tweet or speech constitutes an intrusion on the executive,” they said.
They relied heavily on a 1982 decision by the Supreme Court, which tossed out a lawsuit filed against President Nixon by ruling that presidents are immune from lawsuits over even actions at the “outer perimeter” of their official duties. The Trump speech preceding the riot falls into that category, his lawyers said.
In questioning the results of the election during the weeks before Jan. 6 and on that day itself, Trump was exercising a president’s ability to use the bully pulpit and was “engaged in an open discussion and debate about the integrity of the 2020 election,” they said.

I dunno, maybe he took them out for cleaning and polishing? I think he should replace them with those solid gold grills, that would be on brand.
Well now that sounds like a bunch of crap. The reads to me that the executive can do any damn thing he wants and is totally unaccountable because, executive. Now as to whether that speech falls into the "outer perimeter" of tfg's official duties, I can see as a different question.Kendra wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 2:00 pm https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald ... d_nn_tw_ma

“intrusion” sounds like it could apply to non-public speech. How can using a public speech or video intrude?

Well, when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal… or some such crap.
May the bridges I burn light my way.

He has a long history of filing frivolous nuisance lawsuits that he knows he can't win. Sometimes he extorts a settlement out of a defendant who can't afford a long, drawn-out proceeding.
In this case, he is just playing to his base. If he does actually file a lawsuit, I expect he will grift his followers to pay his lawyers.

They'll have to get in line behind the RNC, I expect.

Re: trump (the former guy)
I've always wondered about the angle he holds his head when he knows a camera is in view. Above is a normal position, ears go from eyes to mouth. A nice normal face. Ok, not nice.
This is his standard camera pose with the head tilted so far back his mouth is at the midpoint of his ears and his eyes are approaching the top of his skull. It always looked freakish, like he was micro-cephalic. And he always does it! Perhaps he started small and it has just gotten out of control over the years. Bugs me every time I see him.
Re: trump (the former guy)
Just speculating with zero proof, but its possible he does it to avoid showing a double chin. I mean he obviously has had work to remove one in the past, but it could be a concern.PaulG wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 6:09 pm

Another reason might be to try and seem taller, to have his chin and eyes higher.
Who the hell knows, its all about the greed twinned with fear & shame in his head.

This is one trick to try to hide the double chin and have some kind of neck. I didn't say it works but I'll bet that's it. I can't figure out where Ivanka Jr. got her weirdly long neck.PaulG wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 6:09 pm This is his standard camera pose with the head tilted so far back his mouth is at the midpoint of his ears and his eyes are approaching the top of his skull. Why is he without face paint? And possibly the hair dye or food coloring or whatever it is?

I think it was like 90 degrees and possible rain on the course. Maybe that's why. He's melting!pipistrelle wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 6:22 pm Why is he without face paint? And possibly the hair dye or food coloring or whatever it is?

She had her jowls pulled up to a freaky degree. What you are seeing is what was under her jaw when she was a kid. See how her jaw curved down naturally when she was a kid compared with the chainsaw she took to it to shape it up.pipistrelle wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 6:22 pm This is one trick to try to hide the double chin and have some kind of neck. Its because he is actually exercising in a non air conditioned environment. Those 2 things would cause massive amounts of sweat i a man in his shitty condition, which would cause his face paint to bubble and melt off. I sweat a lot myself so I know what its like. Why is he without face paint? And possibly the hair dye or food coloring or whatever it is?
Normally he does not wear his stupid Shoulderpads either when he is golfing, but he wanted to look manly for his pals the Saudis so he is wearing some in those photos.

Run that photo in ads for the next 2 years and his support will melt away.
His kids will say he was just a coffee President, never knew anything important.
