Neat trick. Then they can point at vote totals and question why there are so many registered Republicans, but not as many Republican votes.

Not that anyone has done that recently...
i believe this is exactly what they are up to. Interestingly, I recently did some research on voter fraud and was reading through the details on the Heritage Foundation (not exactly a left wing organization) and browsed through the state of Florida to see what kinds of things have been actually documented as cases of voter fraud in Florida. There are several entries where it is specified that a groups of Republicans are changing voter registrations where the voter chose a different affiliation and then discovered their affiliation had been changed to Republican. And this happened in several areas of Florida, it was a widespread effort and it's impossible for me to believe it's some kind of coincidence that all over the state of Florida, Democrat and Independent voters are registering through these groups and then finding their official party affiliation to have been recorded as Republican in spite of having made a different choice on the voter registration form.

Republicans absolutely would able to claim there must be voter fraud because look how many registered Republicans we have and yet the Democrat got this many votes. Also, when those voters who know they affiliated as Democrat show up to vote in a primary, they are turned away. If they don't notice the party affiliation on their card is wrong, they think they are registered as Democrats.

This is the kind of disrespect we have been fighting for years, and indicative of the larger issue we have with GOP Members flaunting health and safety mandates designed to keep us and our staff safe. (2/3)

GOP Congressman Downplays Deaths Of Children From COVID
"Many of these children died with COVID, not of COVID," Rep. Guy Reschenthaler said of kids who died who had other medical conditions. "That's real science."

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/republic ... 436874f?pw
Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Penn.) on Tuesday tried to downplay the number of children who have died from COVID-19, saying that many had preexisting medical conditions that contributed to their deaths — glossing over the fact that, had they not become infected with COVID, they would not have died from it.

“Many of these children had preexisting — I’m sorry, had underlying medical conditions, making them more vulnerable to severe COVID-19 than the average child,” Reschenthaler said on the House floor, during a debate about masks in schools. “Meaning that many of these children died with COVID, not of COVID.”

:snippity:

It’s true that most children who have died from COVID-19 had an underlying medical condition. There are also significant racial disparities in COVID deaths among children; Black, Hispanic and Native American children make up the majority of deaths.

But these children died as a result of becoming infected by COVID-19. As one observer noted on Twitter, it’s like saying people who were devoured by sharks died due to a loss of blood, not because a shark ripped them apart.

The most common underlying conditions in children who have died from COVID-19 aren’t obscure medical conditions, either. They are asthma, obesity and cardiac issues.

Just taking a stroll on my Twitter feed tonight and the weirdest post appeared. I'm putting this in a spoiler tag because a photo a pastor apparently took of himself standing in front of a mirror wearing nothing but an AR style rifle. Posted by a woman in response to his misogynist post.

Fair warning: it may be hard to unsee.

This has been reported a bit in Florida before. All the incidents happened in multiple counties after a particular group of Republicans were "renewing" voter registrations. Large numbers of these renewals were Democrats who were mysteriously renewed as Republicans. That means if hey did not notice on their registration card the change in party and have it fixed, they would be turned away when attempting to vote in a Democratic primary. Also, Republicans could claim that "look how many people are registered as Republican and look at how many voted Republican. It's clear votes for Republican candidates are being changed to votes for Democratic candidate".

They didn't do this for nothing. It was widespread and deliberate.

Former President Donald Trump and his allies have been privately lobbying Wyoming lawmakers to change the state’s election laws as part of an effort to unseat Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.).

On Thursday, Trump endorsed Wyoming legislation that would prevent crossover voting in a primary election. Were the law to pass, Democrats, Republicans, or independents would no longer be able to switch party affiliation on the day of the state’s primary to vote for a candidate in another party.

The bill, introduced by Republican state Sen. Bo Biteman, is part of a push by some Republicans in the state to oust Cheney by blocking Democrats from switching parties to support her in her upcoming election against Trump-endorsed congressional candidate, Harriet Hageman.

Behind the scenes, Trump and Club for Growth’s David McIntosh have both personally called Wyoming’s Republican governor, Mark Gordon, to encourage him to back the bill, according to two people familiar with the calls.
