I was very big on Josh Shapiro. Needless to say, after hearing grandpa Tim Walz speak, there is no question but that Kamala Harris picked the right person to be VP!

I loved Walz' comment about Republicans sticking their noses into women's health care: "Mind your own damn business!"

Thanks for your comments today, you inspire me. The new team seems to have magical chemistry. The impeached felon now looks like a beleaguered incumbent vs. a new beginning. With a reasonable election period (90 days is more than enough), they can stick to tonight's messages and it will be joyful to watch.
I told my son that I have butterflies in my stomach just like I did with Obama in 2008. He said don't get too excited. I said tell your millennial friends to work their asses off like your aged boomer mother. I'm writing 5 Vote Forward letters per day; helping put together voter registration packets for the expected influx of Ohio State students; and contributing much $$ to Harris/Walz and many other Dems.
Everyone, do Vote Forward letters and Postcards to Voters, My Indivisible Central Ohio group is up to 12,500 letters and postcards. WaterGirl has partnered with us and knows we are effective.
I've signed up to do 100 postcards. I think it's GOTV - I signed up some time back and won't get my stuff till September.
It's like Walz is America's dad - it's impossible to dislike him. I saw several videos of him with his daughter. They were adorable and I'm sure they're all over tik tok.
Humans naturally like novelty. I think that was trump in 2016. Now his act is old and tired and it takes a lot of energy to keep up all that anger. So fantastic now that the novelty is now Make America Laugh Again (ka-MALA).
I think Democratic voters were hungry for something to be enthusiastic about and boy did that show up.
Here's the full event with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz from the AP, haven't had time to watch until now but saw clips. Full stadium and their hands are normal-sized!
Hell, I'd vote for Hope. Fearless on the carnival rides, smart as a whip, knows all about the new hands-free law ... she's awesome. I like her dad, too also.
