I do, but only because my doctor gets her lunch paid for EVERY DAMNED DAY by a pharma company. So, I look for their most obscure drug for conditions I don't have and demand it.

Direct to consumer marketing of prescription meds only occurs in the USA and one other country. Its a disgusting practice..

Thanks! I looked up my oncologist, The Fabulous Dr. Baker, and they only bought him lunch 27 times this year, and all under $20. I'm so proud of him!

My regular doc (still a bit wet behind the ears) has gotten one $20 lunch this year. My specialist has gotten a 4-figure consulting fee. I think that’s probably reasonable since it’s for developing specialty drugs.
