The Term "NPC" was applied by 8-chan and the Qanon cult to those who were not "awoken," like them. Basically it mean that the person was just running the same programmed thinking all the time and not "free thinking" like them.

I don't know if they are trying to get everyone to use their term for giggles, like they sometimes do. But you would be aware of the context it has in some circles if you decide to use the term.
