The powerful words of a federal judge today. A warning to other Capitol rioters and …. Election deniers who’d use violence

Macsen Rutledge, who was wearing a "bear-like hood" when he stormed the U.S. Capitol, was arrested in Lansing, New York, today.
Comments are fun!

DOJ Jan. 6 investigation hasn't gone into hibernation.

All this time, they had been looking for him in the woods.

I wonder if they'll let him have a litter box in prison?

He thought he outfoxed the Feds, but they hunted him down.

The bear was on the Lamb all this time?

The videotape bears witness that this dude is headed fur some legal trouble.

"I was there I went inside there, and, you know, I didn’t damage or break anything," an elected official in Connecticut said after online sleuths said they identified him as one of the approximately 3,000 individuals who entered the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Did some government official invite you in?

I think not.

Is there a neat list or summary of those charged of how many were:
Police - current or former
Military - same
Elected officials - same by jurisdiction
Other government officials - same by jurisdiction

They ought to have been on standby on the Potomac river to help Pelosi and the Democrats flee Congress ;)

OMG. There were more insurrectionists inside the Capitol than there are active Coast Guard members stationed in and around DC. And the majority of the Coast Guard members stationed in and around DC are pencil pushers, although there is also a Ceremonial Honor Guard and a small boat station.

The Coast Guard is neither trained nor equipped for that sort of exercise, which the Commandant would have explained to Rep. Pelosi had she asked, which she in all likelihood did not.

I'm just wondering how, exactly, anyone spreading that bullshit story thinks the COAST Guard would go about securing a building? Last time I checked, the Capitol was neither boat nor floating anywhere!

Well, the Coast Guard does know how to secure a building (my husband was Chief of Security at Coast Guard Headquarters for a number of years). But it’s not trained in riot control.

And of course Pelosi didn't have the authority to order anything.

As a troll line, it's pathetic, but no doubt someone's picking it up and bleating it.

In the old days she coulda pulled out her key, fired up her mf transmitter, and sent out SOS in Morse Code on 500kHz.
