I know I’m a broken record on this, but once more, they’re not hiding it folks.
A lot of applause when Trump mentions abolishing the department of education

Oh Bobo baby NO ONE WHO MATTERS CARES ABOUT YOUR PUNY THREATINESS. Do you really think you frighten ANYONE?

She can barely control her voice, how’s she going to control what others think or do?

She does this every time. She starts a sentence in an almost falsetto (I think it’s her natural, shrill voice) then brings it down a notch so humans can hear her.

That's the air of someone who know he's defeated. And maybe soon to be charged with something.

I can't hear what he's saying other than about her mask, but how manly of him to bully a woman in a crowd like that.

Marjoe has been wearing that jumpsuit for at least three days straight, since the LIV tourney. She must be a bit ripe by now.

Woman at CPAC is interviewed about a documentary she has out about voter fraud in US. She said she did her own research, and made it in 60 days for zero dollars. Gets asked a question about it: “Well, um, I have to have my husband on here. He’s the one with all the facts of it.”
:?: :?: Did anyone notice if Fox was present? I slept through F&F the last few days, so missed it if they covered it. IIRC, prior events had heavy Fox coverage and even speaking at the breakout sessions.

Um, they are not hiding it because they have been openly saying they are going to do it for 40 years.
1980 Republican Platform wrote:We understand and sympathize with the plight of America's public school teachers, who so frequently find their time and attention diverted from their teaching responsibilities to the task of complying with federal reporting requirements. America has a great stake in maintaining standards of high quality in public education. The Republican Party recognizes that the achievement of those standards is possible only to the extent that teachers are allowed the time and freedom to teach. To that end, the Republican Party supports deregulation by the federal government of public education, and encourages the elimination of the federal Department of Education.

This is 1980, not even a year after it was created (in 1979).

Regan did not specifically mention the DOE in his acceptance speech but he basically hinted at it:
Everything that can be run more effectively by state and local government we shall turn over to state and local government, along -- along with the funding sources to pay for it. We're going to put an end to the money merry-go-round where our money becomes Washington's money, to be spent by states and cities exactly the way the federal bureaucrats tell us it has to be spent.
https://www.americanrhetoric.com/speech ... 980rnc.htm
Their great dream to get rid of half of the government has not changed since Reagan. Yet, even though they have had multiple occasions where they controlled Congress and the White House, including 2 years of Trump, the DOE remains.

A staffer for Herschel Walker’s Senate campaign has alleged to The Daily Beast that longtime Republican activist Matt Schlapp made “sustained and unwanted and unsolicited” sexual contact with him while the staffer was driving Schlapp back from an Atlanta bar this October.

The staffer said the incident occurred the night of Oct. 19, when Schlapp, chair of the American Conservative Union and lead organizer for the influential Conservative Political Action Conference, “groped” and “fondled” his crotch in his car against his will after buying him drinks at two different bars.

The staffer described Schlapp, who had traveled to Georgia for a Walker campaign event, as inappropriately and repeatedly intruding into his personal space at the bars. He said he was also keenly aware of his “power dynamic” with Schlapp, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in national conservative politics.
