People were dying before ambulances could get to them. Hospitals were treating people in their parking lots. Morgues were overwhelmed.

Things are much better now thanks to the vaccines.

I really wish I knew today was the day last week. It would have saved some really annoying stuff and the prep of a large mailing that took up all my time last week. Still, Chicago dogs and breaded mushrooms make a pretty good last meal.

I live like three to four miles from one, yet I have not been there very much. It is sort of sad. At least the place I went to (which does not specialize in dogs but gyros) is close enough for me to walk, and thus justify eating unhealthily.

Yeah, I know there is healthy stuff on the menu, but, well, I don't go for that.
