I don’t have “faith” but I do have the hope that there are enough people in enough States that can see what is at stake and are willing to abandon some of their “traditional” political views, and/or make the effort to vote. I know people have the right to not vote but there comes a point when it becomes practically indefensible. (No, don’t mention Brexit).

I voted! My candidate, Jennifer Lewis, is probably going to lose. But I’m hopeful she won’t lose as bad as the last Democrat in this district did. Last time I didn’t see a single yard sign for the democrat; this time they’re all over the place.

I think there’s a shifting demographic out here thanks to covid. More folks working from home means they can work from anywhere. Home prices out here are going up significantly. We’ll see how that translates to political influence.

I will be very pleased and very surprised if the Republicans do not gain control of the House (a small one but a majority nonetheless).

I can see a very dim light in the Senate for Democrats, but very dim. I look for the senate to have a majority of one or two but can see that being for either side.

I have hesitated to make my thoughts known because when I predicted Hillary would lose to Trump (and why IMO) I was almost tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail here.

I'm with Realist, hope springs eternal. I predict we will end up with a small R majority in the House (but not small enough,) and I hold out a little more hope for the Senate. But so many of those races are so close and all it takes is for one to break the wrong way, and we are 51/49 R (or worse.) Le sigh. Buckle up.

Now hay, the topic is Democrats Are Going To Win Again... didn't say how many But looking back at history, even with the challenges which could be considered worse than 2010, there's been no comparative red wave. Not even close. We might take Steve Chabot out, Magazine in RI-02 may be a pickup, Marcy Kapur is looking good in Ohio, it goes on and on. Bottom line: It ain't no 2010. Hell, the Senate is still very much in play. Michael Bennet beat Joe O'Dea in Colorado!

IT'S OV-AH! Abigail Spanberger (D) holds on to VA 7, saved by the late counted early cast mail vote in Prince William County. She's ahead by 2% with only a couple of precincts left. Big hold.

MAGA is going to go ballistic, they pumped their dumb voters to think every Democrat would be defeated. So it's nice to know the always-angry MAGATs will be even more pissed off and upset. They are mad as hell on Twitter and it's delightful. And all MAGA will get after all the grifting, losing friends and family, is what, investigating Hunter Biden? Losers. And in the exit polling, Trump has a 60% NEGATIVE, only 37% favorable. Let's see if the GOP is stupid enough to run him again.

Bonus: Miki Booth's least favorite guy, MarkWayne Mullin, won the OK Senate Special. She also doesn't like James Lankford. So you know she's ANGRY.

Meanwhile, Democrats are winning governor's races... Maryland was just called as a pickup. Good shot at 4-5 new Democratic governors.
