Ohio Republicans just want to watch ...

I live in Ohio and there was nothing on the August 8 ballot about birth control. Issue 1 (the only ballot issue) was a proposed amendment to the Ohio Constitution that would raise the threshold for future amendments from 50 percent to 60 percent.

This was a blatant attempt to make it more difficult to pass an amendment that is on the November ballot. This amendment would guarantee abortion rights.

When Jay Leno was doing the Tonight Show, he told a joke that "Republicans want smaller government; just small enough to fit in your bedroom".

The R's do seem to be obsessed with sex, in all its forms.

Not to mention the lack of a curing period for the signatures. So, if enough were off in one county to lower the total collected below the threshold, you had to start all over again.
