by much ado
I believe the genius artist who invented that airplane made the front of the plane look like the head of a dodo. It somehow subliminally projects abject stupidity. Or is it designed after something else?
Here's a dodo for reference...

Chemtrails?
That's how they fool the RWNJs.
The chemtrail chemicals don't go thru the jet engines, or even thru the coal-fired steam engines.
They make chemtrails using the same technology as is used by cropdusters. Simple and cheap.
Then while all the RWNJs are looking high in the sky the real mind control chemicals are sprayed by trucks and helicopters supposedly spraying for mosquitoes. That way the MAGA neighborhoods get targeted while the liberal areas are not affected.

BTW, there's at least
one jet aircraft that emits copious amounts of visible particulate matter reminiscent of this steampunk contraption: a B-52 on full power takeoff. At least, until Rolls-Royce replaces the ancient TF33 engines with shiny new bizjet engines over the next 10 years or so.
Another would be the USAF J-Star, which where built into old 707 aircraft they yanked out of the desert....

... And the J-STARS flew the same TF33's as the BUFF until some were repowered with JT8-D's, another P&W engine of relatively similar vintage. The JT8D powered 737 Classics (-100s and -200s), 727's and DC-9's/MD-80's (the latter affectionately known in some quarters as the "Long Beach Death Tube").
I'm not sure if the JT8D's smoked the way the TF33's do.

An aircraft like that could never manage to fly.
You'd just need the right weiner-dog to pilot it, is all.

The JFK era Air Force One emitted as much smoke as anything I've ever seen. I know the same aircraft (SAM 26000) didn't do that when it was retired because I was present at it's last landing. I have no idea if the engines were replaced or possibly a change in the fuel, but it was as clean as a modern airliner when it arrived at The Air Force Museum in Dayton.
Here is a rather obscure picture of Air Force One shortly after it was delivered to the Air Force and before it got the iconic blue and white paint scheme that Jackie Kennedy picked.
ETA: the picture above is not SAM 26000, but the plane that the air force had before SAM 26000 was delivered in October of 1962. SAM 26000 always had the blue paint scheme. The plane in the picture is in standard USAF MATS (Military Air Transit Service) paint and I'm not positive it was exclusively used as a Presidential airplane. Ike had a Constellation he named Columbine, and later Columbine II which is at the Air Force Museum, and he did fly in the Boeing 707 in the picture at least once but as far as I can tell, this aircraft was kind of a stopgap while they were waiting for the new one we all grew up seeing was finished.

The AF! Examples they have at The Pima Air Museum are as non-air polluting as is physically possible.
They are pretty dirty though sonce they've been sitting in the desert dust for years.

The F4 Phantoms that flew over my house on a semi-regular basis when I was growing up smoked a heck of a lot too. They also rattled the windows, interrupted TV reception and were as loud as any jet I've ever heard.
