Good luck with the family stuff and your radiation treatments. I found the radiation much easier on me than the chemo at the time. I just got very tired and worn out. The side effects from radiation seem to be more long term or permanent though. I’m sure you’ll handle it like the warrior you are! :bighug: :bighug:

:bighug: :bighug: to you, Sugar.

My mom had radiation when she was 82. Yes, she sure was tired out by it, but she made it back just fine. You will too!

Good luck, sugar. IS better be careful about her durable power of attorney. It can be terminated if she is not acting in good faith. She could also be required to pay any monies she has wrongfully taken. If she doesn’t have the money it can be taken out of her share of whatever estate there is.

Sending positive energies your way. Think of relaxing, energizing things during your treatment. :bighug:

Hope all goes well today!

The way they do radiation today is pretty damned amazing.. a very good friend is a recently-retired Radiological Oncologist.. she once explained how the RO, a physicist, and a dosimetrist get together and plan out exactly what they want and where they want it - and how to get the machines to do it.

Since I'm still overseas, I'd offer to loan you my family, since for all that we mock each other, and aren't always *emotionally* compatible, the core group shares at least a morality and a code of ethics that are pretty solid. My younger brother and I may actually mean it when we talk smack at each other, but we'll both turn on a dime to swivel and smack a cousin upside the head who has crossed certain moral lines (and we, as one might guess, actually have done this).

Alas, I think none of my family lives anywhere close to you. So positive vibes will have to do. :bighug:
