I just noticed that today! I didn't even notice all this time, and I started one of them. I just posted in the other one. :? I was going to send a PM to Foggy. This should do it.

Wow, two almost identical threads, existing almost side by side, for almost a year, and almost nobody noticed. That's almost unpossible.

Well, ya gotta admit that there's much content worthy of documenting bad behaviours by repugnicans, right?

Wow, Joe Ruby (full username on Fogbow: Joseph Robidoux III (Narrator: for a good time, google it)) would never have let that happen! I miss him SO MUCH, he used to send me PMs with all sorts of creative and excellent suggestions for keeping this place organized. The whole structure of the elections forums -- where old elections move into a forum just for past elections and new forums pop up for upcoming elections, with separate subforums for both houses of Congress and state elections, that came from Joe Ruby. We worked on that one.

Please, allow me to do my magic and fix merge the two topics.
Edit: 'Tis done. 8-)
And look on the bright side -- there were 236 topics started between the first and the second, so it was easily overlooked.

However, the beatings will continue until morale improves, as they say ...

This would explain why I was just reading the behaving badly thread and thinking, didn't I already read this, and then also thinking, I don't remember reading that. That was followed by my own post in the thread and all of this was part of the unread active topics parts. I thought my mind had already gone Friday on me.

Speaking of Active Topics, I would not mind having the Active Topics link back on at least the bottom of the GraandNew theme. I did a workaround on my laptop on Chrome, adding it on the bookmark bar so I did not have to ask, but that does not work on the phone as well. Low priority, of course.
Edit: Think I figured out why I like the red of GraandNew over REDS. It matches my car.

Done, but check my work. Graand New should have Active Topics links top and bottom of every page, you'll find it.

Thank you It's there. A word to others.. if you are using a phone, it is in the "3-line" menu since there is a lack of space at the bottom, but it is there.

My thumb will now get less excercise since I am not scrolling to the top or clicking though bookmarks.

It looks like the "Active Topics" links have disappeared from top and bottom of page when you look at a thread.

Yes, I upgraded the software that runs the forum and it means we lost the customizations I have implemented, and I'm too bizzy to work on it now, so just be patient and I'll restore the custom stuff I do.

Hokay, Active Topics is back on top of PROSILVER, I will work on the other board styles and the link at the bottom.

ALSO, per request by Sugar Magnolia, I added a link to Unread Posts, see if you like that better than Active Topics.

Moving onward, but coding is tricky and I don't do this every day, so it requires total concentration. If I did it every day it'd be easy.

Hokay, looks like I have Active Topics AND Unread Posts at the bottom of the page.

Onward and upward, now gotta start looking at board styles. Why do I have so many board sytles?

Actually, they're all supposed to be "based on prosilver" so some of them might be OK already. They better not have messed up my board logos!

On Windows, if you can't see the Active Topics and Unread Posts links at the top and bottom of every page, do a force refresh of your browser, which usually means CTRL + F5.

Thanks Foggy. Just for that I won't start 15 threads again. ;) (Actually it was only 6 and I deleted 2 of them that I could).

I appreciate having Unread Posts added. I actually prefer it over Active Topics as my main entry point.

It's probably user error, but my phone (Android) does not keep the password for the site. I have to re-enter it when I reopen chrome on my phone. If I switch topics, no prob. Only if I close chrome or switch to a different page. Ideas?

When you sign in do you remember to mark the checkbox RememberMe again?

That, and while you are on the site, go to the url box in your browser, click in, and move all the way to the left to confirm that you are on https:/ and not just http:/

If needed, edit in the missing “s” and save that bookmark and delete the old. You may also have to delete the http:/ password.
