Once again ArtCandee gives highlights with snark of Trump's rally in Michigan today. Because it's very long, I've put it in a spoiler tag.

He should be. When he loses, he knows at the very best, he'll spend the rest of his days paying lawyers and being in and out of court; at the very best worst, he's going to prison.

Edited for strikethrough correction.

I'm not sure if this is the one you're thinking of, but apparently Eric Erickson made some comment about her spending her entire career on her knees.

But, what is the penalty for breaking this law? Has anyone seen a citation for that? Is there "if you break this law then this is the penalty" section somewhere?
Without looking it up, there's likely a catch-all section saying any violation is a misdemeanor, or possibly just an infraction (e.g., a ticket).

This is a really interesting/well planned poll, imo.

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/thirds- ... nMFKSi9cqQ
Two-thirds of Americans say Trump unprepared to accept the election outcome: POLL
The poll found 17% of Americans say they are not prepared to accept the results.
By Steven Sparks August 30, 2024,

Most Americans say they and Kamala Harris alike are prepared to accept the outcome of the 2024 presidential election as legitimate. Donald Trump, not so much.

Eighty-one percent of Americans in a new ABC News/Ipsos poll say that regardless of which candidate they support, they are prepared to accept the outcome of the election. Fewer, but still 68%, see Harris as prepared to accept the outcome. Just 29% say the same about Trump.
Other interesting analyses in the article.

So all voters think themselves and their favorite candidate will accept the results, but not the other guy with Democrats feeling more confident in the results than Republicans.

He'd never even try to enact anything like this. He sees the polling and just says the answer the person in front of him wants to hear. He's having a tough time trying to thread the needle between his hard core no abortion ever/personhood base (Heritage and mouthy MAGA) and the majority of voters who are pro-IVF and mildly to strongly pro-choice (abortion-wise).

I mean, the whole thing is stupid (it's trump, after all), but he really doesn't even know how IVF works.
“Your government will pay for, or your insurance company will be mandated to pay for, all costs associated with IVF treatment — fertilization for women," Trump said from a stage at Alro Steel in Potterville. "Because we want more babies, to put it very nicely.

"And for this same reason, we will also allow new parents to deduct major newborn expenses from their taxes, so that parents that have a beautiful baby will be able. So we're pro-family. Nobody's ever said that before."
Some folks in the crowd weren't big fans of forcing insurance to cover infertility treatments.

He'll be walking it all back soon. I'm just glad the super pro-lifers/personhood people are seeing the consequences of what their precious personhood really means. It was easy to use when you thought it would never happen.

We’ve hit the ‘make-wild-health-care-promises’ part of Trump’s campaign
There’s a saying about learning new tricks that applies to the former president.
Philip Bump August 30, 2024

Donald Trump on Thursday told NBC News that, if reelected, his administration would ensure that in vitro fertilization (IVF) was free for all Americans. But before we dig into that claim, we should talk about breakfast meat.
